Abstract: A difunctional weather-resistant stabilizer having one terminal semicarbazide functional moiety and one terminal hindered phenol functional moiety is disclosed. The difunctional weather-resistant stabilizer is represented by: wherein R1 represents a C1-C8 alkyl group; each R2 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and a C1-C8 alkyl group; and Z is a divalent organic group.
