At least one flue condition sensor (118) such as a temperature sensor, a flow sensor or a carbon monoxide sensor to name but a few is provided to record chimney status and on a chimney status alerting event occurring requiring one of a chimney flu cleaning operation or a fire extinguisher operation to take place automatically.
