Abstract: Provided is an electronic ballast including: a rectifier which rectifies alternating current (AC) power into direct current (DC) power; a power factor compensator which improves a power face of the DC power; an inverter which inverts the DC current into high frequency square wave power; and a resonant circuit which receives the high frequency square wave power from the inverter, adjusts impedance, transforms the high frequency square wave power into high frequency sine wave power, and outputs the high frequency sine wave power.
Abstract: A lighting apparatus is configured to expose one end of a substrate in which a electrode pad is formed, and to combine a coupling unit in which a locking ledge is formed. The other end of the substrate is placed atop one end of another lighting apparatus at which an electrode pad is exposed, and the locking ledge of the lighting apparatus is locked into a locking groove of the another lighting apparatus.
Abstract: A power line communication apparatus, device control apparatus, and device control method are disclosed. By controlling the phase of AC power with reference to a zero cross point during power line communication, the power line communication apparatus enables not only data to be transmitted and received in a manner robust against noise and impedance but also the receiving end to be miniaturized. The power and operation of household devices can be controlled through the power line communication apparatus, thereby eliminating the need for separate communication networks when a remote control system is built in the home.

Abstract: Disclosed is a parabola type aqueduct, which allows water discharged from discharge pipes installed at the top surface of a washstand to fall down to a concave part of the washstand while forming a parabola. The parabola type aqueduct includes: a washstand having a concave part for gathering water to allow a user to use the water, and a drain formed at the bottom of the concave part; a plurality of discharge pipes having a plurality of outlets located at the top surface of the washstand, the discharge pipes allowing water spouting from the outlets to fall down to the concave part of the washstand while forming a parabola; and a plurality of solenoid valves mounted on the discharge pipes respectively for controlling the amount of water spouting through the outlets.
Abstract: Disclosed is a fluorescent lamp frame capable of varying its length. The fluorescent lamp frame includes: a first frame having an inner space, both ends perforated, and a number of fixing holes formed in at least one side and separated from one another at predetermined intervals; a second frame inserted into the inner space of the first frame in a back and forth movable manner; a frame header mounted at an end of the second frame, inserted into the inner space of the first frame together with the second frame in the back and forth movable manner, and fixed to the inside of the first frame; a power supply wire mounted between a side of the frame header and a socket located at an end of the first frame; and lamp supporters fixed on both ends of the first frame and the second frame.
Abstract: A U-shaped fluorescent lamp for use in existing lighting fittings includes a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) located in a central portion between fluorescent tubes. This arrangement reduces the length of the U-shaped fluorescent lamp. The U-shaped fluorescent lamp includes a socket, a casing, a PCB and a plurality of U-shaped fluorescent tubes. The PCB is located in the central portion surrounded by the plurality of U-shaped fluorescent tubes.
Abstract: Disclosed is a U-shaped fluorescent lamp, which is applicable to existing lighting fittings by disposing a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), which is comprised in the U-shaped fluorescent lamp, on a central space part between fluorescent tubes, so as to reduce the overall length of the U-shaped fluorescent lamp. The U-shaped fluorescent lamp according to the present invention includes a socket, the PCB which is accommodated within a casing, and a plurality of U-shaped fluorescent tubes, wherein the PCB is installed on the central space part which is surrounded by the plurality of U-shaped fluorescent tubes.
