The wall of the retractor body is made of an elastically deformable flat material, preferably of a shape memory metal. At the proximal edge of the retractor body, a receptacle is arranged, into which a fixing rod for positioning and fixing the retractor body can be inserted.

Abstract: A simulator for surgical procedures is disclosed. The simulator can include a frame having a first wall and a second wall, where a passage opening is disposed in the first wall. Additionally, a variable wall can be inserted on the second wall in at least two different positions and the variable wall can have an opening.
