  • Patent number: 10500628
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for reducing the cutting impact in a hydraulically-driven precision blanking press, the force necessary to reduce the cutting impact as a counterforce is generated directly in the pressure chamber of the drive piston such that the counterforce acts directly on the cutting punch and so that the design of the press can be simplified, costs can be reduced, no additional external hydraulic-mechanical means for reducing the cutting impact are needed, and so that the loads on the press and the die can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 9849499
Abstract: A rotary slide moves blanks cyclically from stage to stage of a cutting and processing tool. Work pieces are transferred in and out of the tool, without moving the slide in and out of the tool. The slide has a plurality of transfer openings and a discharge opening. Individual processing stages, including a discharge stage, are designed as separate components that support one another. The stages are arranged about a rotating axis of the slide. The transfer openings and the discharge opening lie in a circular path that coincides with circular paths of active elements of the cutting stage, the processing stages and the discharge stage. The openings have a distance from one another that is identical to the distance of the active elements in the circular paths.

  • Patent number: 9707613
Abstract: A device and a method for shaping sheared edges on stamped or fine-blanked parts having a burr include at least one cutting stage and at least one forming stage. The forming stage includes a shaping punch which has a shaping region for smoothing the sheared edge of the outer or inner contour of the workpiece to the net shape and an embossing shoulder for mashing the burr of the outer or inner contour. The shaping punch is configured so that the shaping region initially bends the burr on the outer or inner contour away from the sheared edge, then seizes the sheared edge for widening, wherein the embossing shoulder of the shaping punch mashes the burr on the outer or inner contour when the widening on the workpiece has ended and flattens the embossing bead, created during mashing, during separating of the shaping punch from the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 9566635
Abstract: An exchangeable plate is suspended on a top plate and held in a lower end position without force by a hydraulic clamps. In an upper end position, it is connected with force fit to, and re-detached from, the top plate as a function of a stripping operation of a scrap web from a V-ring pressure plate. The exchangeable plate is transferred from the lower into the upper end position by movement of a ram, and transferred from the upper into the lower end position by gravity. A sensing distance, adapted to the brake path of the drive system, is provided between the top plate and the exchangeable plate. A sensing device in the V-ring pressure plate outputs a signal to the computer for stopping the drive system and deactivating the hydraulic system. A. sensor detects premature movement of a pressure plate in the exchangeable plate.
