Abstract: A method comprising the claimed oven, blowing units, and heaters inside a blowing chamber in an oven where convection air is blown through nozzle rows and wherein a roll space and a suction space are separated with the help of pressure from each other by extending the length and/or width of a spacer plate which measures essentially larger than the length and/or width of a spacer plate or by arranging gaps or part which constricts the flow of the convection air between the roll space and the suction space where the gaps or part has an effect on the pressure of suction channels, suction channels extension, or of the suction space so that the convection air is sucked at least mainly from the rolls space through the mentioned suction channels, suction channels extension, and the suction space.

Abstract: Tempering section of a flat glass tempering machine saves energy and reduces peak power by shutting an area of tempering section in the areas where there is no glass. The tempering section is multipurpose so that the first part can be used as a high pressure section for tempering thin glasses, latter section being after the cooling section. Further, the high pressure section can use air produced by a blower and/or compressor. The tempering section includes rollers transporting glass, upper and lower pressure chambers, nozzle boxes attached to them, nozzle covers with nozzles and necessary shutting devices and internal walls.

Abstract: Method for transferring heat onto a glass in the furnace meant for heat treatment of glass, into which glass is transferred on a path of rollers, furnace heated by resistors (5) located inside of the furnace, the radiation heat directed onto the glass and convection heat transferred by means of a blower and air onto the glass. In the method the glass being heated and roller space (8) are separated by a wall (9) from air circulation space (3, 7), by means of blowers the air circulation is arranged to heat above and/or below the glass by means of the first chamber (7) and second chamber (3), wherein air is sucked by the blower from the first chamber and blowed into the second chamber, wherein air circulation is conducted from the vicinity of the glass and from roller space (8) through an opening in the wall (9) into vertical channels (7C2) and further into the first chamber and chamber the glass is directed onto the glass through nozzles (6).

Abstract: Method and equipment for glass (G) bending and tempering, in which the glass is first heated in oven in to bending temperature and it is moved over known transfer means, like rotating rollers (R) and after the glass has reached bending temperature it is transferred in to bending section, in which the glass (G) is allowed to bend on special bending ring (BR) and the said transferring the glass onto the bending ring (BR) takes place by moving the glass horizontally by transfer force exerted onto it.
