Abstract: A window sash (3) is mounted on a stationary frame (2) so as to be only rotatable about a horizontal axis but not tiltable using a lower corner bearing (5) such as is also used for turning-tilting fittings, and using an upper hinge bearing (9), which is connected to the sash via a support arm (11). The support arm (11) is sufficiently flexible in the vertical direction in order to be able to follow the vertical adjustment movements of the sash which are carried out at the corner bearing (5). Using a guide part (29a) engaging in the rabbet groove of the sash (3), the support arm (11) is guided vertically and is supported against motions perpendicular to the sash plane.

Abstract: A lock fitting with at least two lock bolts for a sliding door, window, patio door or the like includes a sliding assembly which is mobile inside and in the longitudinal direction of a chamber of the section constituting the front upright of the door, window, patio door or the like. The sliding assembly comprises a first bolt-carrier the opening in which, facing a corresponding first slot in the front wall of the chamber, receives the tail of a first bolt introduced from the outside of the chamber, if necessary in an adjustable manner. The sliding assembly is slidingly connected by an operating rod extending in the longitudinal direction of the section to at least one auxiliary bolt-carrier the opening in which, facing a corresponding second slot in the front wall of the chamber, receives the tail of an auxiliary bolt, if necessary in an adjustable manner.

Abstract: In order to support a window sash on a fixed frame in such a way that it can pivot around a vertical axis, a horizontal support arm is provided which is connected with a frame-side pivot bearing by means of a support angle, the vertical leg of which grips behind a support plate. An adjusting device which acts in the horizontal direction to change the distance between the sash and the axis of the pivot bearing is not placed in the region of the support angle, but rather at the end of the support arm which is away from the pivot bearing, and acts between the support arm and a filler piece which is fastened in the groove channel of the sash.

Abstract: A locking fitting for a leaf of a door, French window or the like, such as a lock, espagnolette-lock or the like, at least one spring-lock (2) elastically restored into locking position and capable of being actuated, through an appropriate control mechanism, such as by a control handle or knob. This locking fitting includes a retainer associated to the spring-bolt and designed so as to be capable, on the one hand, of maintaining the latter in an unlocked or semi-locked position when the leaf is open and, on the other hand, of being made inactive in order to release the spring-lock by the sash-frame of the door or French window, in particular by a keeper this sash-frame is provided with and which is aimed at receiving the spring-bolt.

Abstract: A return device for an operating member engaged with a nut comprises a body having on a front face arrangements which cooperate with complementary arrangements on the nut to convert rotation of the nut about its axis into longitudinal movement of the body. The ends of the body comprise respective pairs of branches forming forks extending in the longitudinal direction of the body. The body has a longitudinal internal cavity to accommodate a spring open at both ends of the body. The width of the longitudinal internal cavity is greater than the distance between the branches of the forks. The longitudinal internal cavity has at least one portion opening onto a rear face of the body and having the spring passed through it. Uses include in a casing for a lock, espagnolette-lock or the like.

The striker includes a base that can be fixed to the fixed frame and an insert including an opening which can accommodate the latch member. Abstract: An espagnolette-lock for use on a leaf within a sash-frame having a casing, an operating rod movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, a controller for actuating the operating rod, a springy element for automatically restoring the operating rod to the locked position, a manual controller for moving the operating rod to the unlocked position and for restoring the springy element to a compressed condition, a locking mechanism for maintaining the operating rod in the unlocked position during an opening of the leaf from the sash-frame, and an unlocking mechanism for releasing the locking mechanism when the leaf is closed into the sash-frame so as to return the operating rod to the locked position. The locking mechanism includes a toggle joint having a first rod and a second rod connected together by a fulcrum. The first rod is connected through a hinged joint to the operating rod. The second rod is connected through a hinged joint to the casing.

The slide member is a casing having two sets of recesses. The recesses in each set of recesses increase in height from a center of the casing to a respective end of the casing. The recesses in each set extend from the lower edge of the casing towards an upper wall of casing. The spindles have ends received by respective recesses of the two sets of recesses. The recesses have a narrowing so as to lock onto a respective end of the spindles. The casing is secured in a slot formed in a lower edge of the sliding leaf. The mounting mechanism enables the casing to rock within the slot.
