Abstract: The invention relates to seating furniture, in particular an armchair or sofa, with at least one backrest, at least one headrest, and at least one headrest adjustment. The headrest is held adjustable relative to the backrest by means of the headrest adjustment. The headrest adjustment has two height-adjustable positioning struts bearing the headrest and each is guided via a separate guide for adjusting the at least one headrest from the lower position into the upper position and back so that the headrests or the headrest adjustments are less prone to jamming or wedging, without disproportionate manufacturing costs. The guides each have a gear rack element and a gear wheel element meshing with the gear rack element when adjusting the headrest from the lower position to the upper position and back. The gear wheel elements are connected to one another in a torsion-resistant manner via a synchronous strut.

Abstract: A piece of seating furniture having at least one base body, at least one adjustable functional part, at least one pivot fitting for adjusting the functional part relative to the base body and a separate, lift setting mechanism for locking the functional part in relation to the base body. The lift setting mechanism has a guide and a slender bar which can be moved in relation to the guide. The lift setting mechanism can be moved from a set position, blocking the adjustment of the functional part, to a reset position, unblocking the adjustment of the functional part. The pivoted lever is pivotably connected to the base body separately via two adjusting levers, the two adjusting levers are jointly connected to the base body via a control lever and one adjusting lever is pivotably connected to the base body via a guide lever.

The adjusting lever can be moved with respect to the base body out of a lower position into an upper position and back. The steering lever can pivot with respect to the pivot lever and with respect to the control lever. The control lever can pivot with respect to the base body and/or to the adjusting lever and the control lever is connected to the adjusting lever.

Abstract: A lift adjuster is depicted and described for adjusting seating furniture and/or reclining furniture, with a housing and an adjustment bracket. The adjustment bracket is maintained in the housing and can be partially pulled out of the housing. In order to enable comfortable adjustment, it is proposed that at least one clamping element is provided displaceable with respect to the adjustment bracket between a clamping position and at least one adjustment position in that the at least one clamping element is received in a clamping manner in the clamping position in a clamping gap between the adjustment bracket and the housing such that the adjustment bracket is prevented from sliding into the housing.

Abstract: A pivot fitting having a stop lever, a ratchet lever, a blocking device and at least one toothed ring. The stop lever and the ratchet lever can be pivoted in relation to one another in an adjustment direction and in a reset direction. The stop lever and the toothed ring are coupled to one another such that pivoting of the stop lever and ratchet lever in the adjustment direction is accompanied by pivoting and/or rotation of the toothed ring in relation to the blocking device. The blocking device has at least two catches, that, in an adjustment position of the pivot fitting, the pivoting action of the stop lever and ratchet lever in the reset direction is countered by form-fitting engagement of at least one catch in the toothed ring.

Abstract: A lift adjuster is depicted and described for adjusting seating furniture and/or reclining furniture, with a housing and an adjustment bracket. The adjustment bracket is maintained in the housing and can be partially pulled out of the housing. In order to enable comfortable adjustment, it is proposed that at least one clamping element is provided displaceable with respect to the adjustment bracket between a clamping position and at least one adjustment position in that the at least one clamping element is received in a clamping manner in the clamping position in a clamping gap between the adjustment bracket and the housing such that the adjustment bracket is prevented from sliding into the housing.

The head part can be pivoted from the unused position into the usage position and back. In order to further reduce the space required for the folding bed, the cabinet unit and head part are connected together via a control lever that is held pivotable about a pivot axis on the cabinet unit and a pivot axis on the head part. The control lever is designed such that on movement of the head part from the unused position into the usage position and back, it is pivoted against the cabinet unit.

The backrest and the foot part are coupled below the seat by a coupling linkage. The seat is held on the base frame so as to be pivotable from a sitting position into a standing up assistance position. The coupling linkage transmits a pivoting movement of the backrest relative to the seat onto the foot part and vice versa. A stop abuts on the foot part, the coupling linkage and/or the backrest in a rear position of the foot part. The stop, together with the coupling linkage, converts a pivoting of the seat relative to the base frame from the sitting position into a standing up assistance position into a pivoting of the backrest relative to the seat while increasing the opening angle between the backrest and seat.
