A closure panel folds over an upper edge of the container. Locking tabs at opposite ends of the closure panel fit into the slots. The rounded edges enable multiple openings and closings of the container without damage to either the slot or the locking tab.

    Abstract: A round trip mailer box is formed from a unitary corrugated cardboard blank with a plurality of scored lines for a quick and easy folding of panels to set up the box. The corners of the box are reinforced and strengthened by folding and bracing corner panels. The folding of the box is completed by inserting tabs on two interchangeable and overlapping top panels, one over the other, into cutouts on opposite sides of the box. These overlapping top panels can be interchanged so that when a mailing label is placed on each top panel, the box can be mailed to a recipient and later remailed back to the sender by simply interchanging the relative positions of the top panels. The box is easily secured in its closed position by taping or other closure means at the two inserted end tabs of the box and is easily opened, reclosed and reused.

    Abstract: A cardboard box, made from a single cardboard blank, has a slanting upper surface to enable the contents of the box to be clearly seen. Opposed interlocking points are formed along the slanting side edge. When one such box is inverted and stacked on another, the interlocking points come into abutment and keep the boxes from sliding apart. As a result, boxes with truncated triangular cross-section may be stacked and shipped as if they were rectangular in all dimensions.

    Abstract: A single and unitary, generally rectangular blank is preferably made of corrugated cardboard, with a waterproof surface. On the corners of the blank, a pair of triangular panels are brought together, in a V-fold, and into a face-to-face contact. Then, the corner panels are folded over the ends of a box as the four sides of the rectangular blank are raised to form the side and end panels of a five-sided box. A cover panel is integrally joined to one edge of a side panel, to swing down and close the box. While the leakproof box has many uses, it is presently thought that it will primarily be used to ship frozen poultry.
