  • Patent number: 10631822
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic device includes an ultrasound probe including ultrasound transducers that transmit ultrasound toward an imaging subject, receive ultrasound reflected from the imaging subject, and output ultrasound detection signals; an alteration unit that alters a transmission frequency of the transmitted ultrasound or a reception frequency of the received ultrasound, from a frequency for converting amplitudes, of the ultrasound detection signals outputted from the ultrasound probe, into an intensity distribution of brightnesses and displaying the distribution, to a frequency for carrying out diagnosis of tissue characteristics; and a calculation unit that calculates an index for diagnosing tissue characteristics, based on a relationship between received signals, at a time when the transmission frequency or the reception frequency is altered to a frequency at which diagnosis of tissue characteristics is carried out, at two or more different ultrasound transducers at the ultrasound probe.

  • Patent number: 8267510
Abstract: A inkjet recording method is provided in which occurrence of curling at the time of double-sided recording is prevented. In the method, an inkjet recording medium is used which includes resin coated paper having a resin layer A of thickness “a” at one side of base paper, and a resin layer B thinner than the thickness “a” by a thickness of 3 ?m to 20 ?m at the other side of the base paper, and ink receiving layers each of which includes an inorganic pigment and a binder and are provided at both sides of the resin coated paper; and an image is recorded on the ink receiving layer at the resin layer B side of the resin coated paper, and subsequently an image is recorded on the ink receiving layer at the resin layer A side of the resin coated paper.

  • Publication number: 20100006767
Abstract: A radiographic imaging system comprises: imaging unit including a radiation source for emitting radiation and a radiation detector for detecting radiation emitted from the radiation source and having penetrated a subject; moving unit for moving the imaging unit between a plurality of imaging positions that partially share an imaging region with each other; control unit for sequentially moving the imaging unit to the imaging positions with the moving unit, causing the radiation source to emit radiation to acquire a short image with the radiation detector in each imaging position, and acquiring a dark image with the radiation detector after acquiring the short image; and image processing unit for performing residual image correction upon the short image acquired in each of the imaging positions based upon the dark image acquired immediately before the acquisition of the short image and thereafter combining corrected short images to obtain a long radiographic image.

  • Publication number: 20090103015
Abstract: A polarizing plate comprising at least one protective film; and a polarizing film, wherein the protective film disposed on a liquid crystal cell side has Re(?) and Rth(?) satisfying the conditions of 45 nm?Re(590)?65 nm and 150 nm?Rth(590)?240 nm, and the polarizing plate gives, when disposed in an orthogonal position, a hue a* and a hue b* of the polarizing plate disposed in an orthogonal position satisfying the formulae ?1.0?a*?2.0 and ?1.0?b*?2.0 (wherein Re(?) represents a retardation value in plane at a wavelength of ?nm (unit: nm), and Rth(?) represents a retardation value along a thickness of the film (unit: nm)).

  • Patent number: 7477361
Abstract: An apparatus for image taking includes a range image sensor, in which a range image is produced in which a distance is represented with a pixel value by image taking of a principal object from an image taking position. An image pickup device receives light reflected by the principal object, to output an image signal for respective pixels. A light reception control unit changes over a reception sequence and reception time, and causes the image pickup device to output image signals associated with first and second distance ranges. The second distance range is a distance range where the principal object exists and is over the first distance range. A first range image and second range image, are formed according to the image signals. Blank portions are designated within the second range image by comparison of the first range image and second range image, to compensate for the blank portions.
