Publication number: 20130142398Abstract: A server system stores a database of records. Each record stores a digital image of a pet, facial recognition markers, and owner identification information. An owner may register his/her pet using a cellular telephone and a mobile app. The owner is prompted to supply a digital photograph of the pet and to enter eye and nose location information. The system generates therefrom facial recognition markers and stores the markers in a record. If a lost pet is found, a finding user can use a cellular telephone to take a picture of the animal and to enter eye and nose location information. The system generates markers and compares the markers in a facial recognition process to other stored markers to identify records of animals that resemble the lost pet. If the record of the lost pet is identified, then owner identification information in the record is used to contact the owner.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2012Publication date: June 6, 2013Applicant: Finding Rover, Inc.Inventors: John Polimeno, Jason John Polimeno, Steven P. Publication number: 20120284202Abstract: Systems and methods relating to the determination of notable locations around a specific address. The notable locations within a predetermined radius of the specific address are mapped and noted. Each notable location within that radius contributes (either increases or decreases) a score for a particular category. Each category relates to a particular concern that might relate to a specific demographic or segment of the population. The score for each category is then presented to a user. The user may also enter a ranking of the various categories and specific addresses whose scores are in line with the user's ranking may also be presented to the user. The notable locations around a specific address may be found in a database supplied by the municipality or any other source or may be derived from a digital map of the area.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 6, 2011Publication date: November 8, 2012Applicant: FIND A HOME CORP.Inventor: Timothy James Dalby

Patent number: 8121970Abstract: A method for identifying primary product objects on webpages over the Internet. A primary product object displays the best view of the product that a webpage is detailing. Each webpage is divided into sections based on the primary product objects in the webpage. Features of candidate product objects in each section are extracted. The primary product objects are identified by computing probabilities of the candidate product objects in each section being primary product objects, based on a statistical model. The identified primary product objects are stored for subsequent retrieval and display.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2009Date of Patent: February 21, 2012Assignee: The Find Inc.Inventors: Michael Tung, Shashikant Khandelwal, Gurpreet Singh Sachdev, Madhur Khandelwal

Patent number: 7980435Abstract: The belt or strap clip includes a main body and a clip arm. The main body is adapted to retain, via a button mount, a cellular telephone or other personal electronic device. A plastic leaf spring has a fore end mounted to the main body, a curvaceous mid-section and an elongated leg member. The leg has a proximal pivot member and the distal leg region is disposed in a capture channel in the clip arm. A complementary pivot member in the clip arm coacts with the proximal pivot member such that when the main body pivots with respect to the clip arm, the elongated leg member bows. The method includes capturing the distal end of the spring into the clip arm and permitting the elongated leg to bow inboard during the pivot between the clip body and the clip arm.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2005Date of Patent: July 19, 2011Assignee: A.G. Patent number: 7940925Abstract: The clip-mount operates with a button mount and includes a body defining a locking cavity for the button and a resilient locking tongue therein. The tongue biases the button into a locking position. The tongue includes at least one cam surface. A movable cam actuator on the body includes another cam surface which coacts with the first cam permitting the tongue to flex from a locking to an unlocking position. An enhancement includes one cam and cam follower, to flex the tongue from the locking to the unlocking position, and a second cam and cam follower to flex the tongue to a button locking position. The method includes biasing the button to a locking position, providing a sloped cam surface on the resilient locking tongue and moving a second cam surface over the tongue cam surface thereby flexing the tongue from a locked to a button release position.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2008Date of Patent: May 10, 2011Assignee: A.G. Patent number: 7421073Abstract: The clip-mount operates with a button sub-mount system and includes a body defining a locking cavity for the button and a resilient locking tongue therein. The tongue biases the button into a locking position with a cam surface. A movable cam actuator on the body includes another cam surface which coacts with the first cam permitting the tongue to flex or unlock. An enhancement includes both an unlocking cam and a second locking cam structure. The method includes biasing the button to a locking position and moving one cam over another thereby flexing the tongue from a locked to a button release position. The actuator maybe biased outboard or upward via a plastic spring on the actuator-plunger. A plastic leaf spring may be provided between a clip arm and the button clip mount body. A lock or latch may lock on the actuator-plunger.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2005Date of Patent: September 2, 2008Assignee: A.G.
