Abstract: A sensing device can detect material depth, liquid-level, and temperature. The sensing device has a probe, a control module, a volume sensing module, a thermal sensing module, an output module, and a power module. The probe has two material electrodes connected to the volume sensing module and a thermal electrode connected to the thermal sensing module. A rated voltage is applied at the material electrodes based on radio frequency admittance. A current deviation of the material electrodes is obtained by the volume sensing module, and calculated via the control module by material characteristics to obtain a correct storage amount of material. A temperature at each material depth is correctly detected by the thermal electrode. Steel cable is used as the material of the material electrodes of the probe to detect material depth or liquid level with high impact resistant ability.

Abstract: An FMCW radar level meter has an RF signal processing module, an intermediate frequency (IF) signal processing module, and a computation and display module. A signal generator of the RF signal processing module generates a first RF signal, which is radiated by an antenna to a measured object. The antenna received a second RF signal reflected by the measured object. The IF signal processing module processes the second RF signal and compares the first RF signal with the second RF signal. The computation and display module calculates and displays a distance between the FMCW radar level meter and the measured object. Using the RF signal processing module and the IF signal processing module to process the second RF signal, the issues of noise and temperature coefficient shift can be resolved.

Abstract: A measuring method for a frequency modulation continuous wave radar level meter is performed after presetting a previous-cycle weight and a current-cycle weight and acquiring a measured result in a previous cycle, and has steps of constantly transmitting a frequency modulation (FM) signal and receiving multiple reflected signals, obtaining a frequency difference between the FM signal and each reflected signal, selecting a characteristic frequency from a frequency spectrum, and calculating a measured result in the current cycle taken as the measured result in the previous cycle for calculating a measured result in a next cycle with a sum of a product of the measured result in the previous cycle and the previous-cycle weight and a product of a distance corresponding to the characteristic frequency so as to reduce variations of the measured result in each cycle and facilitate statistical analysis.

  • Publication number: 20140263978
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-calibration method for a photoelectric liquid level switch and apparatus using the same. The apparatus has a control module, a light emitting module and a light sensing module. The light emitting module emits a light beam into a container. The light sensing module then detects a reflected light beam. The control module acquires two values respectively standing for a first liquid level status and a second liquid level status. When a default threshold value is beyond a range between the two values, the control module calculates a new threshold value in the range between the two values. The control module then replaces the default threshold value with the new threshold value. The threshold value is adjustable for any kind of liquid.

  • Publication number: 20140264098
Abstract: A self-alignment filling level detecting device has a reflector and a sensor detachable from each other. The sensor has a light emitter, a light sensor, and a controller. The light sensor receives different light intensities when the reflector is assembled to the sensor and when the reflector is not assembled to the sensor. Thus, the controller determines whether the reflector has been accurately engaged and aligned with the sensor or not based on sensing results of the light sensor. Since the reflector and the sensor are detachable from each other, either the reflector or the sensor can be replaced individually if any one of them malfunctions.

Abstract: A turbine vibrator has a housing, an eccentric rotor mounted in an air chamber of the housing and two covers mounted respectively in two mounting recesses of the housing. Two threaded walls defined respectively around the mounting recesses of the housing have same threaded directions. Therefore, the mounting recesses, the air chamber and the other mounting recess are formed sequentially so axes of the mounting recesses and the air chamber are disposed along a same line. Manufacturing processes of the housing is reduced and shearing forces applied to the shafts of the eccentric rotor are reduced so the turbine vibrator has a prolonged useful life. Moreover, as a rotating direction of the eccentric rotor and the fastening directions of the covers are the same, when the turbine vibrator operates, the covers tighten against the housing. The first and second covers do not drop from the housing.

  • Patent number: 7565750
Abstract: A plumb probe assembly for a level measuring device has a plumb and a connection assembly. The plumb has an inner connecting tube. The connection assembly has two connectors and two clip brackets. The connectors are slidably mounted together while one of the connector firmly connects to the inner connecting tube of the plumb. The clip brackets are movably connected together by at least one resilient device supplying a clipping force and clip around the connectors to hold connectors firmly together. When a force greater than the clipping force, applied to the plumb, the clip brackets separate and the plumb falls into the particulates in the container. The plumb will not cause damage to a particulate discharging device and will disconnect with the connection assembly. A replacement plumb may then be attached to the connection assembly for continued operation.
