Abstract: A modular partition system includes at least two relocatable panel units. Each panel unit has a frame formed from two horizontal frame elements and two vertical frame elements interconnected so as to define a rectangular opening, and at least one panel mounted within the opening. The system also includes at least one connector for rigidly connecting adjacent vertical frame elements from the panel units to combine them to form a partition. The vertical frame elements are configured to provide attachment portions accessible from the front of the panel unit for receiving the connectors so that the panel units may be connected without dissembling them. Also described is a method for assembly of a partition employing a rigid template for alignment.

Abstract: A stand for a monitor and a keyboard, which can be used to hold a computer monitor and keyboard so that a human operator may comfortably use the computer in a variety of positions, including sitting in a conventional chair and standing. The stand includes two shelves, each of which is attached to a post. The posts are then attached to a base. One shelf is designed to hold a monitor, while the other shelf is designed to hold a keyboard. The keyboard shelf itself is tiltable about its post, such that the angle between the keyboard shelf and its post is adjustable. Both the post attached to the keyboard shelf, and the post attached to the monitor shelf, are independently extensible, such that the length of each post, and hence the vertical position of each shelf, can be adjusted independently.

Abstract: A space partition having an inner volume for accommodating electrical wires and the like, and providing convenient access thereto. The space partition is generally formed by a framework having a pair of vertical members with a cross member connecting therebetween. The cross member includes a pair of connectors, each engaging one of the vertical members, and a linking element connecting the connectors to each other, the linking element including a pair of parallel rods. Features are provided for facilitating temporary removal of panels and covers of the space partition, thereby enabling easy access to the inner volume of the space partition.
