Abstract: An arrangement in a liquid treatment space clarifying liquid by gravity. A feed assembly leads the liquid to be treated into the treatment space by a fixed distribution channel. The feed assembly includes at least two elongated and in a longitudinal direction thereof straight feed channels being fixed stationary in the distribution channel and extending therefrom sidewards, in order to achieve in the treatment space a radially widened feed zone in respect with the distribution channel by an efflux assembly provided with the feed channels the efflux assembly discharging the liquid to be treated into the treatment space through full length thereof.

Abstract: A method and exhaust arrangement in the removal of surface scum. An exhaust arrangement is used existing in connection with a liquid basin. The exhaust arrangement includes a first surface chute arrangement for removal of surface scum utilizing an overflow arrangement, belonging to the first chute arrangement and being based on a continuous flow for overflowing the surface scum in at least two successive phases, from the fluid basin into a primary space in the fluid basin and from the primary space into a secondary space in the fluid basin, from where overflow is finally exhausted from the liquid basin utilizing an exhaust assembly for the surface scum. A second surface chute arrangement removes liquid processed in the liquid basin.

Abstract: Method for chain drive, whereby the chain, such as a transmission chain, conveyor chain and/or like, is formed of several shaped pieces (1), that are connected to each other one after another at jointing points (N) by means of joint pins, and that is being driven by means of a wheel arrangement, that includes at least one chain wheel (7), such as a drive wheel, a turning wheel or the like. Particularly wearing of the chain, that is due to bending of the chain essentially along the longitudinal direction (p) of the joint pins, is being minimized by taking advantage of joint pins (x), the cross section of which changes in the longitudinal direction (p). The invention also relates to chain functioning according to the method.

Abstract: Scraper bar arrangement to be used particularly in connection with a liquid handling reservoir, such as a clarification basin or like, which comprises one or several scraper bars (1) being placed one after another in the longitudinal direction (5), transfering means (2) for moving of the scraper bar/bars (1), such as two transmission chains (2b) or like being placed side by side and being driven by means of a drive wheel and turning wheel arrangement (2a) or accordingly, in connection with which the scraper bar/bars (1) is/are attached by means of an attachment arrangement (3), preferably removably, such as by a screw joint or like. The scraper bar (1) is formed known as such of at least two first bar parts (1a), that are fixed to the transfering means (2), such as to two transmission chains (2b) placed side by side, and of at least one second bar part (1b), that has been attached between the above by means of coupling means (4), that operate preferably by quicklocking principle, and locking means (5).
