The device can further include a housing containing both sources of radiation. The switch is configured to be controlled by the closing of the housing and the source of visible laser radiation is turned off in response to the closure of the housing.

The drift chamber separated from the ionization chamber by the second electrode. The smoke particles penetrates from the environment to a detector inside the drift chamber. The electrical potential of first electrode exceeds a critical electric potential value for generating a corona discharge in the vicinity of the first electrode. The second electrode has openings for the electric charges generated in the ionization chamber to move to the drift chamber. The electric potential of the second electrode allows the electric charges in the drift chamber to move from the second electrode to the third electrode. The electric field between the second and third electrodes is at least 100 times weaker than the electric field between the first and second electrodes.

The receiver is sensitive to at least some of the wavelengths of the light rays emitted by the emitter. The first light reflector facing the emitter to direct the emitted light into a detection zone in the scattering zone. The second light reflector facing the receiver to direct, in the presence of smoke in the scattering zone, the scattered light from the detection zone onto the receiver. A single mechanical part comprises the first and second light reflectors and a link resistant to the passage of the light from the first light reflector to the second light reflector.

The claimed method further comprises the steps of associating a plurality of amplification systems to different subsets of the plurality of loudspeakers; assigning different signals to be emitted by different loudspeakers for each of a plurality of control signals; and storing parameters representing the signals to be emitted in each amplification system. When a control signal common to the different amplification systems is received, the amplification systems cause the loudspeakers to emit the different signals and the corrective action comprises memorizing the parameters representing the status of the loudspeaker.
