Patents Assigned to Firma A. U. K. Muller GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 5996965
Abstract: A solenoid valve especially intended for wet-room fittings. It has a housing with an intake and an outlet sealed off from each other and prevented from communicating while the valve is closed by a body that rests on a seat. The housing is essentially flower-pot shaped and has a threaded section at the open end positioned concentric and coaxial to the intake and outlet, which are in turn rotationally symmetric and face the open end such that the incoming flow is opposite the outgoing flow.

  • Patent number: 5180138
Abstract: A servo valve controlled by a bistable solenoid valve and activated by the same fluid--liquid or gas--it controls the flow of. A disk is mounted on a differential piston that travels back and forth in the housing. A compression chamber at one end of the piston communicates with a fluid intake and, by way of a seat facing the disk, with a fluid outlet. The piston has an eccentric control bore extending through it. A control chamber at the other end of the piston communicates with the fluid outlet through a depressurization channel and with the compression chamber through the control bore. The solenoid valve has a chamber and seat and an armature that travels back and forth in a tube. The tube extends through a coil on the housing. A gasket is mounted on the end of the armature facing the solenoid valve's seat. The other end faces a head accommodated in the tube. A yoke surrounds both ends of the coil. The depressurization channel extends through the chamber and seat and can be closed off by the plug.

  • Patent number: 4826132
Abstract: A solenoid valve, especially an outlet valve for infusion water. A valve chamber (2) is accommodated in a valve housing (1) and communicates with a supply channel (Z) and with a drain channel (A) by way of a valve seat (3). The magnetic armature (6) of a magnetic system accommodated on valve housing (1) is connected to a valve plate (10) accommodated in the valve chamber (2) opposite the valve seat (3). The valve chamber (2) is sealed off from the interior (11) of the magnetic system by an isolating diaphragm (12). To prevent calcium deposits, the valve seat (3) has a sheet (13) of polytetrafluoroethylene accommodated coaxially along its inner circumference and projecting beyond the surface of the valve seat (3) on the side facing the valve plate (10). The upper edge of the sheet (13) facing the valve plate (10) is in sealing plane with respect to the valve plate.

  • Patent number: 4787411
Abstract: A valve controlled by the same medium it handles and released by a preferably electromagnetically activated control valve. Contaminants in the medium that clog up the control bore in servocontrolled valves that employ a differential piston, a relief bore that can be closed off with a control valve, and a control bore that connect a pressure connection with a control space prevent the valve from closing. A mechanism that is especially simple in design is proposed to constantly keep the control bore clean during operation. The control space accommodates a wire spring that rest against the differential piston and against the valve housing and extends through the control bore. The motion of the piston is accompanied by a relative motion between the control bore and the spring that results in a constant cleaning action. The valve is especially practical in water lines and has the advantage of constant self-cleaning on the part of the control bore.
