Abstract: An electrostatic spray gun includes a housing, a nozzle with a coating material discharge opening, and means for connection to an electric resistor and high voltage cable. An electrode is carried by an electrode extension body so as to be disposed forwardly of the nozzle discharge opening at a distance sufficient to effectively charge spray particles of a coating material having high conductivity. The extension body can be adjustable in position to accommodate an adjustable nozzle, while still making effective electrical contact with the resistor.
