    Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a probe arrangement for the electromagnetic detection of metal objects. For this purpose several receiving loops are provided, which detect a secondary signal emitted by the sought object. The secondary signals received with the different loops are interconnected and evaluated in object-specific manner. This gives precise information on the position and location of the object to be detected.
