Abstract: A flexible microphone and amplification system is disclosed. The system includes a first end supporting a first device and a second end supporting a second device. A flexible portion connects the first end to the second end. The flexible portion is bendable and twistable and can be contorted into various shapes to support the first end and second end in various positions.
Abstract: Aspects and embodiments of the present invention are generally directed to sound-amplifying holders for portable electronic devices. In one example, there is provided a mobile portable electronic device holder comprising a body, a retention area defined on the body and configured to releasably retain a portable electronic device, and a waveguide formed within the body and configured to amplify sound emitted from a speaker of the portable electronic device.
Abstract: A system and method for wirelessly triggering an amplification system are disclosed. In one example, the system for wirelessly triggering the amplification comprises at least one wireless tag, the at least one wireless tag having unique identification (ID) information and an amplification system configured to receive audio signals. Further, the amplification system comprises a wireless reader configured to receive and determine the ID information from the at least one wireless tag, and a processor configured to associate at least one sound effect with the ID information received from the at least one wireless tag and to modify the audio signals to include the at least one sound effect.
Abstract: Drum kits and connector assemblies for connecting components of drum kits are described. Some of the described connector assemblies are configured to provide one or more pre-defined acceptable interconnection orientations. Some of the described connector assemblies facilitate easy interconnection and disconnection of components of a drum kit. Described interconnection types include snap connections and locking interconnections, among others.
