Abstract: Disclosed herein are certain embodiments of systems and methods for standardizing a plurality of digital wallet credits, into one digital wallet system. Expenditures of merchant issued credit stored in digital wallets are supported by tokenization of assets. Assets are encoded and represented by currencies tracked on public ledgers. Data is mined from the public ledger, decoded, and presented to users with a unified interface which allows users to view balances at any time of all digital wallets in their possession.

Abstract: Transaction data is collected from POS terminals in order to generate transaction paths for account holders. The transaction paths link merchant locations where transactions are conducted. Common features of transaction paths, such as intersecting path locations, and transaction data associated with the merchant locations are used for marketing and other purposes.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques for facilitating push provisioning of a user payment source into a user's digital wallet without the user having a physical card. The techniques allow an issuer to provide a button in an issuer's mobile application for the user to simply push the button to request that the payment source be imported into the user's digital pay wallet. In this way, the payment source information is “pushed” into the pay wallet. Using push provisioning, the user need not enter any physical card information. The described techniques generate a chain of trust that can be used to ensure that a user, through an issuer and using an encryption gateway, authorizes a token service provider to provision the payment source into the user's digital wallet.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer-readable media related to mobile device purchase flows. In some embodiments, a mobile device may obtain a uniform resource identifier (URI). The mobile device may launch a browser based at least in part on the URI. The mobile device may submit a first set of data to a server based at least in part on the URI and receive a re-direct URI. The mobile device may launch an application in response to receiving the re-direct URI from the server, wherein the application submits a second set of data to the server. The mobile device may facilitate completion of a transaction by the application based at least in part on matching the first set of data and the second set of data at the server.

An amount for the transaction is allocated among the transaction types in accordance with terms of the transaction and the terms for the allocation.

Abstract: An electronic transaction method, funds transfer apparatus and method for facilitating a funds transfer. The methods comprise sending information from a purchaser or payor to a funds transfer system separate from a vendor system or payee, validating and confirming personal financial information at the funds transfer system, and transferring funds from a purchaser or payor account to the vendor or a payee account without exposing either party's financial and account information to the other. Additionally, a funds transfer apparatus is disclosed comprising connections to a payor and payee system and mechanisms for receiving and validating party and transaction information and a mechanism for transferring funds from one party to the other.

On behalf of an employer, the enrollment system collects and retains employment eligibility data based on the entered personal data. Based on the same personal data, the enrollment system collects and retains bank customer identification data, on behalf of a financial institution, when an account at the financial institution is established by the enrollment system for receiving payroll deposits.

Abstract: Users of mobile devices communicate through a mobile gateway to a transaction processing system. The transaction processing system manages accounts, such as debit card accounts, for the users. The accounts include a main account for each user and sub accounts that are linked or related to the main account. Funds may be transferred between a main account and its linked sub accounts, including automatic funds transfer when a transaction (e.g., a payroll deposit from an employer or a debit transaction at a specified retailer) is made against the main account and meets certain parameters established by a user. Access to linked sub accounts is made through use of internal account IDs, rather than the account number of the main account.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for handling information related to a transaction conducted with a presentation instrument at a POS device. Extended application IDs and dynamic cryptograms are used for the transaction. According to one embodiment, a method of processing a financial transaction for an account having a primary account number (PAN) can comprise detecting initiation of the transaction with the presentation instrument, and providing from the presentation instrument to the POS device a list of one or more applications IDs. Each application ID identifies an application that can be used to communicate data concerning the transaction between the presentation instrument and the POS device. The POS device selects one of the application IDs and returns it to the presentation instrument. Under the control of the selected application, the presentation instrument generates a Dynamic Transaction Cryptogram (DTC) and a dynamic PAN that are each valid for only a single transaction.

Users can utilize documents to complete transactions. A user device, such as a point of sale (POS) device may be used to enter user information as well as capture an image of a check. A financial service server, in communication with the POS device, may forward the request to a document analysis server. The document analysis server may use the information received from the POS device to determine whether the document is approved to be used in a transaction. The document analysis server may obtain financial information from an image of the check. The document analysis server may use the user information and financial information to obtain additional information (e.g., credit history, transaction history, etc.).

Abstract: A system for detecting breach of merchant systems includes an extraction management system for extracting wildcard data from a dump site at which stolen account data is offered for sale. The system also includes an account breach identifying system for accessing stored transaction data from multiple banks and merging the extracted dump site data with the transaction data to create unique PAN (primary account number) data records (each set of wildcard data corresponds to only a single PAN) and multiple PAN data records (each set of wildcard data corresponds to multiple PANs). The unique and multiple PAN data records are stored and analyzed separately, and reduce the amount of data needed to identify a breached merchant.

Sending the redemption message from the mobile wallet of the mobile device to the service provider system can be performed via a wireless communications network such as a cellular network.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for performing a money withdrawal transaction includes transmitting a transaction identifier for use by an ATM. The method also includes receiving the transaction identifier from a mobile device of a user, where the mobile device obtains the transaction identifier by capturing machine readable code from the ATM. The method further includes receiving a withdrawal amount from the mobile device along with an identification of an account for use in the withdrawal transaction. The method additionally includes transmitting withdrawal information to a payment service provider to effectuate authorization of a withdrawal of funds from the ATM in an amount equal to the withdrawal amount. The withdrawal information is transmitted from the payment service provider to the ATM and subsequently received therefrom along with a PIN that is input by the user into the ATM. This process mimics existing withdrawal transaction processes of the ATM.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating indexed sales data by aggregating point of sale (POS) datasets are aggregated from transactions at a plurality of POS terminals. The POS datasets for each transaction include a transaction amount, a merchant classifier, and a transaction time. An industry subset of the aggregated POS datasets is obtained for a given timeframe based on the merchant classifier. This industry subset comprises transactions for a given industry. A sales value is calculated for the industry subset, and a monthly fluctuation factor is applied to the sales value. Also, a normalization factor is applied to the sales value based on a percentage of the sales value relative to an overall market size to obtain the indexed sales value.
