    Abstract: Disclosed is a LADCP and USBL combined observation device and a use method thereof. The device includes a cable winch system, a mounting frame, a LADCP system, a USBL beacon and a correction system. The LADCP system, the USBL beacon and the correction system can be mounted to the mounting frame by adopting a hardware support platform. The cable winch system can drive the LADCP system to deploy or recover along a vertical section. The LADCP system is used to obtain the current velocity of a single small profile, and the USBL beacon can locate the underwater position information, and the correction system can obtain data information in the seawater where the mounting frame is located, so as to calculate an absolute current velocity according to the velocity obtained by the LADCP system and the current data obtained by the correction system.

The system includes an LADCP, combined inertial navigation system host, data processing unit, wireless transmission module, voltage-resistant wireless antenna, battery cabin, first and second GNSS antennae and an instrument support. The data processing unit is connected to the LADCP and the system host through serial ports to obtain ocean current profile measurement data, a GNSS position, GNSS orientation data, three-axis acceleration data, a three-axis gyroscope angular velocity, a roll angle, a pitch angle and a course angular rate. Real-time high-precision correction is performed on a three-dimensional flow velocity of an ocean current profile observed by the LADCP based on the orientation data, roll angle, pitch angle and the course angular rate. Accordingly, measurement precision of flow velocity and flow direction by the LADCP is improved, and working costs to carry out profile flow observation are reduced.

    Abstract: A new GNSS-based real-time high-precision wave measurement method, wherein the GNSS phase, pseudo-range, Doppler frequency shift observations and broadcast ephemerides are collected by a GNSS receiver, and antenna carried by a sea surface carrier; the three-dimensional speeds of a carrier are acquired using an epoch difference of phase observations; and wave element information are then solved. The wave element information can also be obtained by integrating the speeds for a certain duration and removing a linear trend term to obtain a time-dependent displacement variations. No additional precise differential correction is needed, thereby saving on service costs and communication costs of precise differential corrections. High-precision wave element information is obtained in real time, and locally stored in a buoy or periodically returned by communication, thereby expanding the working range of GNSS-based ocean wave measurement.
