Patents Assigned to FIRST RF Corp.
  • Patent number: 11437716
Abstract: An antenna element is provided that is adapted to provide a more consistent horizontally polarized signal. In one embodiment, a radiator and counterpoise are provided with the counterpoise being disposed between the radiator and a ground plane in use. The feed location for feeding the radiator and the counterpoise is significantly spaced from the ground plane in use and the radiator and counterpoise diverge relative to this feed location.

  • Patent number: 9748657
Abstract: The invention is directed to a cavity backed dipole antenna that has at least a reduced length relative to a reference dipole antenna at the same first frequency of operation and, in some embodiments, an improved bandwidth relative to a reference dipole antenna. In one embodiment, the cavity backed dipole antenna comprises a driven bowtie dipole antenna and a parasitic folded sheet dipole antenna with the driven bowtie dipole antenna located with a boundary defined by the parasitic folded sheet dipole antenna.

  • Patent number: 9564673
Abstract: An adjustable antenna structure is provided for use inside a building and mounted to an interior structure having a hollow space behind the structure, such as a wall or ceiling. In one embodiment, the antenna structure includes an antenna, a radome with a sleeve and an end surface that extends across one end of the sleeve, a mount that defines an opening for receiving the radome and includes a flange for disposing adjacent to the interior structure, a securing structure with a surface that cooperates with the flange to fix the flange adjacent to the structure, and an adjustment structure for fixing the position of the radome relative to the mount. The adjustment structure can be used to fix the position such that the end surface of the radome is substantially conformal with the flange or the end surface and a substantial portion of the radome extend beyond the flange.

  • Patent number: 9257748
Abstract: The invention is directed to a broadband, low-profile antenna structure that in one embodiment includes a compound radiator and a ground plane. The compound radiator is comprised of a dipole radiator portion and a Vivaldi radiator portion that is electrically connected to the dipole radiator portion. In operation, the dipole radiator portion operates in the lower end of the bandwidth and the Vivaldi radiator portion operates in the upper end of the bandwidth.
