Publication number: 20190082973Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for monitoring a health status of an individual. A person responsible for an individual's well-being may use such a system or technique to monitor them for possible health risks, such as heat stroke. A data reading device can be disposed in a non-invasive wearable, such as a wristband or headband, to be worn by the monitored individual. The data reading device can monitor data indicative of the target individual's health status, such as temperature, pulse rate and sweat conductivity. The health status data can be compared to pre-determined baseline thresholds for the individual, and a notification can be provided if the thresholds are exceeded.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2018Publication date: March 21, 2019Applicant: FirstEnergy Ventures Corp.Inventor: Aimee Michelle Knisely

Publication number: 20190080792Abstract: A system for medicine dosage compliance may comprise a dispensing component that provides for medicine to be dispensed based at least upon authorized identification of a user and a secondary authorizer. The dispensing component may comprise an identity authentication component that automatically authenticates an identity of the user and the secondary authorizer at the time of a dispensing event. The system may further comprise a communication component providing one or more notifications to one or more third parties. The communication component may comprise a wireless personal area networking component that sets up a local networking connection between the dispensing component and a local device to share data between the dispensing component and a local device. The local device may communicatively be coupled to a remote network component. A notification component may generate notification information of the dispensing event for one or more third parties.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2018Publication date: March 14, 2019Applicant: FirstEnergy Ventures Corp.Inventors: Dennis Marshall Chack, Brett William Reynolds, Michele Domiano Jones, Amanda Marie Kidder, Timothy William Wechter, David Lynn Griffing, Lauren Rae Lucas, Josh Ryan Schulte, Cheryl Ann Brubaker-Schaub, Kenneth Michael Burns, James Thomas Petroski, Benjamin Back Rose, Carl Anthony Shotwell, William Bagnal Timms, III, Jon Eric Washington

Publication number: 20170183006Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for limiting a speed of a vehicle. A speed control device, operably coupled with a vehicle management system, can be configured to limit an engine speed based at least upon: an identified speed of the vehicle; a pre-determined speed limit for a location of the vehicle, identified in real-time; and a pre-determined speed threshold for the vehicle. A networking component, communicatively coupled with the speed control device, can be configured to communicate wirelessly with a remote computing device to provide the speed threshold information from the remote computing device to the speed control device, and to provide vehicle-related information to the remote computing device. Additionally, the remote computing device can comprise an application that allows a user to provide the speed threshold information and receive the vehicle-related information.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2016Publication date: June 29, 2017Applicants: FirstEnergy Ventures Corp., Aytomic Technology, LLCInventors: Dennis M. Patent number: 6250473Abstract: A hydroseparator for separating particles based on the differences in settling rates such as for separating fly ash from gypsum includes a substantially cylindrical side wall closed at its bottom end by a floor. A laminar upflow is created through the hydroseparator by adding dilution water to the bottom of the hydroseparator and removing most of the added dilution water from the top of the hydroseparator. The remaining volume of liquid is removed in an underflow. The hydroseparator is divided into at least two sections by a baffle that extends about the interior of the side wall. An inlet is disposed in the center of the hydroseparator slightly above the baffle such that the material added to the hydroseparator to be separated is inserted into the section of the hydroseparator completely surrounded by the baffle.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 1998Date of Patent: June 26, 2001Assignees: FirstEnergy Ventures Corp., Codan Development Limited Liability Company, Dravo Lime, Inc.Inventors: R.
