Patent number: 11957866Abstract: A blinding cap for covering a needle shield that is covering a needle of a syringe includes an elongated body extending between a proximal end and an opposing distal end, the body at least partially bounding a chamber. An annular sleeve projects from the proximal end of the body and at least partially bounds a channel. A first flange radially inwardly projects from the body into the chamber, the first flange at least partially bounding an opening that provides communication between the chamber and the channel.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2021Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Fisher Clinical Services GmbHInventors: Patrick Locati, Guido Hunkeler, Alain Duerr

Patent number: 9545480Abstract: A method for assembling a syringe includes supporting a syringe barrel having a stopper being movably disposed therein. A distal end of a plunger rod is inserted into the compartment of the syringe barrel. An initial digital image is taken of the stopper within the syringe barrel. The distal end of the plunger rod is coupled to the stopper located within the syringe barrel so that the plunger rod is secured to the stopper. A plurality of further digital images of the stopper within the syringe barrel are taken during or after coupling the distal end of the plunger rod to the stopper. Information determined from each of the further digital images is compared to information determined from the initial digital image using a computer processor to determine if the stopper in each of the further digital images has moved relative to the syringe barrel.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2014Date of Patent: January 17, 2017Assignee: Fisher Clinical Services, GMBHInventors: Guido Hunkeler, Joerg Spettl

Patent number: 9192543Abstract: A blinding cover completely surrounding the container comprises an axially movable and twistable lid that has means for gripping the sealing cap of the container and has a sampling point for a sampling needle. By axially moving and twisting the lid, the sealing cap is removed from the container, and the sampling point is positioned above the open container.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 2013Date of Patent: November 24, 2015Assignee: FISHER CLINICAL SERVICES GmbHInventors: Guido Hunkeler, Joerg Spettl

Patent number: 9144465Abstract: The carrier for prefilled syringes has a body made from a dimensionally stable elastic material with a chamber for inserting the syringe. The flange of the syringe cylinder is fixed in the axial direction in a defined recess, whereas the syringe plunger is fixed in any position in an elongated recess.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2013Date of Patent: September 29, 2015Assignee: Fisher Clinical Services GmbHInventors: Guido Hunkeler, Ulrich Gerstmann
