    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for opening screwed lids or rotating various objects. The device comprises a handle with two portions, and a loop fastened to one handle portion. The loop is tightened around the edge of the lid by squeezing the handle portions against each other, whereby a cam in the handle portion locks the loop relative to the handle, and a loop and the end of the handle portion close to the lid move closer to each other, which increases the tightening of the loop around the lid.
