Abstract: Pruning shears include a cutting head with a spring-biased blade pivotally connected to a jaw and arranged to sever a workpiece received in a bight formed by the jaw. A drive mechanism is connected to the cutting head and an elongate housing is connected to the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a rotation preventer for preventing rotation of a second pulley in relation to the drive mechanism when a drawing torque is applied to the second pulley. The drawing torque is greater than a threshold torque, resulting in a second pulley being stationary in relation to the drive mechanism and the first pulley rotating in relation to the drive mechanism.
Abstract: A chopping aid for use in chopping of wood includes an upper section in an upper part of the chopping aid which at least partly surrounds and supports in an upright position wood arranged in the chopping aid during chopping. A base section in a lower part of the chopping aid extends at least partially along the upper section, and the upper section is supported on top of the base section by springs, which provide a dampening characteristics against impacts on the upper section of the chopping aid.
Abstract: A joint for a cutting tool includes a bolt with a head in a first end, with a thread in a second end, and with an intermediate section between the first end and the second end, which during attachment of two objects rotatably to each other protrudes trough openings in said objects. A nut is received on the thread. In order to provide an easy solution for adjusting the tension of the joint and at the same time preventing accidental loosening of the joint, the bolt is provided with a cavity. An expansion bolt with a threaded end protrudes into the cavity and expands the second end of the bolt.
