Abstract: Pressurized aerosol composition for administration by inhalation comprising a liquefied hydrofluoroalkane, a powdered medicament dispersed therein, and a suspending agent comprising a polymer soluble in the liquefied hydrofluoroalkane which is selected from polymers including recurring amide containing structural units, copolymers of amide containing units and carboxylic acid ester units, polyvinylacetate and acrylic acid/methacrylic acid ester copolymers.
Abstract: A new technique for combating helminthic parasites in an animal, e.g. a sheep or cow, comprises applying to the skin of the animal an anthelmintic amount of an anthelmintic compound, e.g. 4,5,6-trichloro-7-(diethylsulphamoyl)-2-(trifluoromethyl) benzimidazole, tetramisole or levamisole, whereby the compound is absorbed by the animal through its skin.
Abstract: 2-Trifluoromethylbenzimidazoles having a sulphamoyl or substituted sulphamoyl substituent on the benzene ring combat mammalian parasites, for example liver fluke in mammals e.g. sheep, and cattle tick and sheep blowfly.
