Abstract: An information processing system includes a first information processing apparatus formed of a group information management module for managing information related to one or more groups each of which is formed of a plurality of shops; and an accounting information storage module for storing the accounting information of a service which all shops included in the one or more groups can offer, and a second information processing apparatus formed of an accounting information management module for setting or changing the accounting information of the service stored in the accounting information storage module.
Abstract: An accounting device of the invention cooperates with a terminal station which is used for the user to use information from an information provider and includes, a first input unit for inputting first data PIDi and PIDj regarding the contents of providing information, a second input unit for inputting second data TIDi and TIDj which is concerned with the providing information and is not concerned with the contents, a third input unit for inputting third data PPC indicative of money information, and a checking unit for discriminating a permission or an inhibition of the use of the information at the terminal station by using at least one of the first and second, and third data. The checking unit outputs a discrimination result about the permission or inhibition of the use to the external of the accounting device, thereby properly inhibiting the illegal use of the terminal station and contributing to a spread of a network terminal apparatus.
Abstract: A structural support system such as a cantilevered shelving system for use in cooperation with a wall that faces an opposing surface includes a standard to which at least one shelf can be mounted. The standard is positionable in a generally upright orientation against the wall so as to support the shelf. A buttress, which is preferably adjustable in length, is positioned to span the distance between a point on the standard and the opposing surface so as to abut both the standard and the opposing surface and brace the standard in the generally upright orientation against the wall.
Abstract: An anti-vibration apparatus for actively damping an object vibrations by generating control forces for reducing the vibrations includes a first actuator for generating a first control force, and a second actuator which generates a second control force and is driven on a driving principle different from that for the first actuator. The first actuator generates forces in the vertical and horizontal directions. The second actuator generates a force in at least one of the vertical and horizontal directions.
