Abstract: A portable sanitizing apparatus, such as a case, includes a first case portion arranged to receive an object to be sanitized, and a second case portion connected to the first case portion and including at least one UV light source configured to emit UV electromagnetic radiation. The second case portion includes an expansion member having a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. When the expansion member is in the expanded configuration, a distance between the second case portion and the first case portion is increased compared to when the expansion member is in the collapsed configuration, thereby increasing a distance from the at least one UV light source to the object to be sanitized.

Abstract: A portable heating apparatus includes a top layer and a bottom layer connected to the top layer to form a cavity. An electric heating element is disposed within the cavity, and a temperature-retaining component, such as a gel layer, is affixed within the cavity adjacent to the electric heating element and adjacent to the top layer. A power cord is in electrical communication with the electric heating element and connectable to a power source to provide power to the electric heating element, the power cord detachable from the portable heating apparatus. The temperature-retaining component is capable of retaining heat generated by the electric heating element and creating a generally uniform distribution of heat across the top layer.

Abstract: A body massager includes a portable housing including a backrest and a seat support. A longitudinal guide is provided in the backrest cooperating with a carriage for translation of the carriage within the backrest and a motor drives the carriage along the guide. A pair of massage members are supported by the carriage and extend from the backrest for imparting a rolling massage effect upon the back of the user. A second motor drives the massage members for generating a rotary kneading massage effect or for adjusting a width of the rolling massage effect.

Abstract: A vacuum massager includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion, and a cup attachment arranged to be removably received on the lower portion of the housing. An air pump is disposed within the housing in fluid communication with the cup attachment for generating suction therein, such that contact of the cup attachment with a user's skin creates a vacuum within the cup attachment. A controller is disposed within the housing in electrical communication with the air pump. The vacuum massager further includes a cooling attachment interchangeable with the cup attachment and arranged to be removably received on the lower portion of the housing in electrical communication with the controller for cooling the user's skin.

Abstract: A media pad apparatus for a portable air cooler includes a frame having a top end and a media pad disposed within the frame. A top tray is provided on the top end of the frame and includes opposed walls, the opposed walls sloping downwardly from upper edges thereof to join at a common lower edge and create a generally V-shaped profile of the top tray. The top tray further includes a plurality of openings in the opposed walls spaced along a length of the top tray, wherein when fluid is provided to the top tray, the openings dispense the fluid through the top tray along the length thereof to wet the media pad in a spatially distributed manner. A portable air cooler with a media pad apparatus removably received therein is also disclosed.
