Patent number: 4867727Abstract: The invention provides a rotatable device including a body adapted to be supported for rotation about an axis of rotation. A resilient electrically conductive member is supported by the body for rotation with the body, and has first and second blades, the second blade being generally parallel and spaced radially inwardly of the first blade with respect to the axis of rotation of body. The first and second blades of the resilient electrically conductive member define a battery receiving area therebetween adapted to house a button type battery. A electrically operable device is mounted on the second blade of the resilient electrically conductive member and is centrifugally activated when the body is rotated about the axis.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 1988Date of Patent: September 19, 1989Assignee: Flambeau CorporationInventor: Charles A. Patent number: 4768651Abstract: A satchel-style tackle box, that has storage compartments for tackle, baits, fishing accessories and other equipment, is disclosed. The box permits ready and facile access to all the storage compartments when the box is disposed in its horizontal in-use position. Some of the storage compartments are accessible through the open upper end of the box. A lid assembly is hingedly connected with the upper, rear edge of the box and may be used to selectively close the upper end of the box. The lid assembly has two parts, a front part and a rear part that is connected with the box. The front part may be selectively opened, without opening the remainder of the lid assembly, so as to permit selective access to the front most storage compartment.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 1987Date of Patent: September 6, 1988Assignee: Flambeau CorporationInventor: Charles A. Patent number: 4739577Abstract: A molded plastic tackle box is adapted for use by fishermen to store and transport items of tackle, bait, fishing accessories and other equipment. The box has a selectively movable storage deck adapted to temporarily and safely hold a limited number of such items. The storage deck may be mounted in the box during normal usage and transportation of the box. However while fishing, the storage deck may be mounted outside of the box on the side wall of the box. When the deck is so mounted, the lid of the box may be closed so as to prevent rain water and other casual water from getting into the box and to preclude the spillage of the contents of the box if it would happened to be bumped or tipped over.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 1987Date of Patent: April 26, 1988Assignee: Flambeau CorporationInventor: Charles A. Patent number: 4729474Abstract: An improved satchel-style tackle box wherein access to the storage compartments can be had through the upper end or through the front wall of the box. Hence with the box of the present invention, there is no need to turn the box over in order to obtain access to all its storage compartments. The elimination of the need to turn the box over is accomplished by adding a pull out drawer to the lower part of the box. One or more storage compartments are then developed in the box above the drawer storage compartment. The projecting edge around the drawer opening in the box cooperate to prevent the rain water and other casual water from getting into the box, between the drawer and the opening, when the drawer is closed. Novel latches secure the drawer in its closed position and assist in preventing the ingress of water into the drawer. The latches are readily moved out of the way when the drawer is to be opened. A handle is mounted on the front wall of the box to facilitate carrying the box.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 1986Date of Patent: March 8, 1988Assignee: Flambeau CorporationInventors: Charles A. Patent number: 4651458Abstract: A bird decoy which can be assembled in either a feeder or sentry position. The decoy includes separate main body, neck, and head portions. The neck includes first and second ends. The main body engages one of the neck ends, and the head engages another of the neck ends. With the first end of the neck interconnected to the body and second end interconnected to the head, the neck curves to a lower portion to simulate a feeding goose. With the second end of the neck interconnected to the body and the first end interconnected to the head, the neck is substantially upright, to sumulate a bird in a sentry position.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 1985Date of Patent: March 24, 1987Assignee: Flambeau CorporationInventor: Charles A.
