Abstract: A retainer is provided for holding a gun in a rigid case. The case contains a low stiffness cushion material and the gun, including its rear stock and fore stock, located in engagement with one side of the cushion material. Support members each having a stiffness greater than the stiffness of the cushion material engage the other side of the cushion material opposite the fore stock and rear stock. A strap extends around the support member opposite the rear stock, through the cushion member and tightly around the rear stock. Another strap extends around the support member opposite the fore stock, through the cushion member and tightly around the fore stock. The support members and straps together hold the gun located in the case.

Abstract: A gun case for transporting and storing a gun with forward and rear portions. The gun case includes a forward housing with rigid side walls that form a cavity configured to receive the forward portion of the gun. The gun case also includes a rear housing with rigid side walls that form a cavity configured to receive the rear portion of the gun. The rear housing is pivotally coupled to the forward housing for movement between an open position providing access to the cavities and a closed position capable of securing the gun within the gun case.

Abstract: A yo-yo includes a yo-yo body having first and second halves joined together with an axle. A string is interconnected at one end to the axle and at the opposite end to a solid body. Tricks may be executed using the yo-yo, including selectively releasing the solid body, supporting the yo-yo by the string at a point on the string between the solid body and the yo-yo body, and throwing the yo-yo body and solid body in the air and catching the solid body.

Abstract: A yo-yo includes an adjustable clutch mechanism having a pair of arms having flyweights mounted thereto and pivotally mounted within a cavity in one of the yo-yo halves. The arms include gear teeth that mesh with gear teeth on a movable member such that pivoting of the arms causes linear actuation of the movable member. The movable member includes engagement teeth that engage a spool. An adjuster mechanism includes a threaded bolt and a limiter threaded onto the bolt. The limiter is positioned by rotating the bolt. The position of the limiter determines the range of motion of the movable member.

Abstract: A game call includes a hollow tubular body having an opening, and a subassembly comprising a wedge, reed, and tone board inserted at least partially into the opening. The tone board and wedge include complementary projections that resist relative axial movement between the wedge and the tone board to permit systematic incremental tuning of the game call.

A work platform panel is also hinged to the wall by means of a storage rack with integrally molded attachment clamps. The work platform panel may be pivoted about its axis of attachment to the wall between a work position and a storage position, as may the support panel. When in the work position, the support panel is releasably attached to the work platform as a support bracket. When in the storage position, the panels fold over each other against the supporting wall.

Each of the base members includes an outer container supporting surface having opposite ends, and each of the base members is provided with a pair of container support members for removably supporting a pair of containers in end-to-end relation adjacent the respective container supporting surface, each of the containers being slideably insertable between one of the pairs of support members from one of the opposite end portions of the container supporting surfaces so that the containers are always accessible regardless of whether the storage rack is folded or unfolded.

Abstract: A lockable latch assembly including a base, a latch member pivotally supported on the base for movement between a latched position and an unlatched position, and a locking mechanism housed in the base. The locking mechanism comprises a driver member that is pivotable between a lock position and an unlock position, the driver member including an elliptical outer cam surface. The locking mechanism also comprises a locking member including a flexible band surrounding the cam surface and slidingly engaging the cam surface, the band being deformable to conform to the contour of the cam surface, and a pair of diametrically opposed locking bars extending radially outwardly from the band. Pivotal movement of the driver member actuates reciprocal movement of the locking bars between extended and retracted postions by deforming the band. When in the extended positions the locking bars are engagable with the latch member to restrict movement thereof from the latched position.

Abstract: A bird decoy which can be used either on land or in water. This decoy includes a body portion, a neck portion and a head portion. The body portion includes an integral flotation ring for supporting the decoy when the decoy is used on water.
