    Abstract: A stent and methods for use of the stent are provided. The stent is positionable in a blood vessel adjacent an opening to an aneurysm. The stent is configured to deflect portions of blood flow away from the opening to the aneurysm to decrease the amount of blood flow entering the aneurysm and decrease the rate at which blood floor enters the aneurysm, and/or increase the amount and control the direction of the blood flow out of the aneurysm.
