Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a high-velocity mobile imaging system. The system can include a tube, which may have at least one wire coil extending for a least a portion of a length of the tube. The system can further include a carriage that is movable along an interior of the tube. The carriage can include a permanent magnet, a sensor, a network communications interface, a processor, a memory, and machine readable instructions stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to capture a reading using the sensor and report the reading to a remote computing device through the network communications interface.
