Abstract: An impeller for pumps, turbines, fans, etc., of the closed type, having a number of vanes arranged between cover discs. In order to reduce the secondary flows within the impeller, the secants between the suction side of the vane and the cover discs are displaced with respect to the intersections at the pressure side of the vane. This impeller is rotationally non-symmetrical.

Abstract: A cable (1) entering a submersible machine, such as an electrically driven pump, a turbine etc., is surrounded by a collar (3) of a rigid material, and the collar (3) is secured to the machine shell (2) by bolts (4). Two sockets (5) and (6) of an elastic material surround the cable (1), one of them mounted in the shell (2) and the other in the collar (3). A ring (8) of a rigid material is arranged between the two sockets (5) and (6). The collar (3), during mounting, is moved towards and into contact with the shell (2), thereby causing the sockets (5) and (6) to be compressed axially and expanded radially so that the cable (1) is secured and sealed.

Abstract: The pressure side of the pump unit is provided with a valve (6) which during certain periods opens a connection between the pump and the pump station to obtain circulation in the station. The valve (6) is opened and closed by a valve ball (9) which is controlled by the pump pressure.

Abstract: A device is provided for obtaining automatic circulation in waste water pump stations. At the pressure side of the pump unit, there is a valve which opens during certain times to form a connection between the pump and the pump station to create a circulation. The valve is opened and closed by means of communicating bellows which are controlled by the pressure difference between two sections in the valve having different areas.

Abstract: A device in a submersible pump or mixer prevents solid bodies from entering a housing containing a mechanical seal. The device has a helically formed groove so directed, that pollutant material is fed in a direction away from the mechanical seal, and the device has a cutting means to cut the pollutant material.

Abstract: A rotary joint having a non rotary housing surrounding a rotating shaft and being sealed by a mechanical seal. Monitoring impulses are transmitted by hydraulic fluid which is transported between the housing and the shaft by means of a distribution socket. The socket is arranged so that a number of column seals are formed between the shaft and the socket. The apparatus is supported by two prestressed, reversed roller bearings.

Abstract: A method and a device for installation of a mixer in a liquid tank is provided wherein the mixer is brought downwards into the tank along a guide which is pivotally attached in the upper part of the tank. During operation the reaction force from the impeller will cause the guide to pivot making the mixer take support against the tank wall.

Abstract: A device and a plant for breeding fish, shellfish, etc. includes one or several tanks of a non-rigid material which are lowered into the water. Each tank has at least one inlet and at least one outlet for water. The inlet and the outlet are so arranged that the water level in the tank is somewhat above the surrounding level to maintain the walls of the tank in a tightened out position by the higher static pressure in the tank.

Abstract: An attaching device for mounting guide means in a liquid holding tank, the guide means being arranged to guide a submersible mixer into and out of the tank. The attaching device includes mutually pivoted parts which make possible securing of the device on horizontal, vertical as well as sloping surfaces.
