Abstract: The present invention provides light weight, water dispersible, granular compositions containing a first herbicide and a second herbicide in which the first herbicide and the second herbicide have different physical characteristics. In particular, the present invention relates to granular herbicidal compositions comprising a low melting point herbicide, carfentrazone-ethyl, and a high melting point herbicide, sulfosulfuron, having excellent dispersibility in water and chemical and physical stability.
Abstract: Concentrated aqueous hydrogen peroxide or another reactive compound in a liquid carrier is activated by atomization and contact with a suitable catalyst that is concurrently atomized in a carrier liquid. Concentrated hydrogen peroxide and a hydrogen peroxide activation catalyst are atomized into a droplet spray for catalytic activation of the hydrogen peroxide in this invention, useful for treatment of a combustion flue gas containing contaminants such as NO? and/or Hg.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a toothpaste composition comprising a binder, an abrasive, a foaming agent, water, and polyethylene glycol, wherein the binder comprises semi-refined carrageenan. The toothpaste composition has improved shelf life.
Abstract: An apparatus for a continuous encapsulation process is provided. The apparatus is a vibrating tubing used alone, in series, or in combination with an encapsulation apparatus, which is used alone or in series. The vibrating tubing is a flat coil, a standing spiral, or a flume. The encapsulation apparatus includes a winding having coils disposed in an aqueous gelling solution. The winding is rotatable about its longitudinal center axis. The winding has adjacently spaced coils forming a plurality of chambers. Objects to be encapsulated are added to the apparatus such that when the winding is rotated, the chambers transport a volume of objects through the length winding in the aqueous gelling solution in a predetermined time.
