Abstract: A valve arrangement for applying flowable medium to a substrate, having a main valve body with a medium channel for flowable media which is able to be closed by a movable closure member and to which a nozzle part having a nozzle opening of the valve arrangement is connected, wherein the valve arrangement has a pivotable lever movable out of a fastening position and into a releasing position, wherein the pivotable lever, during the movement from the fastening position into the releasing position, exerts a detaching force on the nozzle part in order to support the detachment of the nozzle part from the main valve body. In a first phase of its movement out of the fastening position and into the releasing position, the lever is movable in a straight line and exerts the detaching force on a push-off surface of the nozzle part, and entrains the nozzle part.

Abstract: A method and to a device for handling hygiene products, in particular nappies, wherein the products are transported by a feed conveyor in a first transport direction into compartments of a removal conveyor, in particular a grouping conveyor, which transports the products in a second transport direction, wherein the second transport direction extends transversely, in particular perpendicularly, to the first transport direction. At least one intermediate conveyor which serves to reduce the transport speed of the products in the first transport direction is located between the feed conveyor and the removal conveyor.

Abstract: A method for strapping a group of packages, in particular for products of the cigarette industry, with a strip of packaging material, wherein the packages are brought together to form a cuboid group and are then strapped with at least one strip of packaging material. The at least one strip of packaging material is provided on one side with a preferably continuous layer of adhesive, and the group of packages is completely strapped with the at least one strip of packaging material, wherein the layer of adhesive is brought into direct contact with the packages of the group.

Abstract: A method and device for examining rod-shaped products of the cigarette industry, having a cylindrical lateral surface and two end faces formed by two filter elements arranged at opposite ends, the product having smokable material between the two end faces, by: a) irradiating the lateral surface using examination light whereby the examination light penetrates through the lateral surface at least partially into the product and at least partially exits again through one end face, the beams of which are incident on the lateral surface at an angle of at least 30° in relation to the longitudinal extension of the product; b) acquiring the examination light exiting the end face of the product using an electro-optical receiver, the main viewing direction of which is directed onto the end face; and c) evaluating the brightness or light intensity of the examination light exiting the end face and acquired by the electro-optical receiver.

Abstract: A tamper-evident package, in particular child-proof package, having an outer package and having an inner package, wherein the inner package is at least partially received in the outer package, and wherein the inner package for opening and closing the package is disposed so as to be displaceable in the outer package, and wherein the package as an anti-tamper feature has at least one securing means for impeding or preventing the opening of the package, or the access to the products disposed in the inner package. The at least one securing means is effective between the inner package and the outer package so as to impede or prevent the inner package being displaced in the outer package in order for the package to be opened.

Abstract: A pack for products of the cigarette industry, having an outer pack which is made from a dimensionally stable material and is configured as a flip pack having a box part and a lid, and having at least one cuboid inner pack which is made from a dimensionally stable material, is disposed in the outer pack and encloses the products on all sides, the inner pack having a closure means which prior to the initial use of the inner pack closes a retrieval opening for retrieving individual products which extends at least in an end-side region of the inner pack, preferably additionally extends in a front-side region of the inner pack, and which is able to be converted from the state closing the retrieval opening to a state releasing the retrieval opening, with the closure means being composed of a dimensionally stable material, such as coated cardboard.

Abstract: A packaging for products of the tobacco industry, wherein the packaging has a box portion and a lid which is pivotably arranged on the box portion by means of a line hinge, and wherein a packaging content is arranged in the box portion, and wherein the packaging has a collar which at least partially surrounds the packaging content at several sides and which protrudes with the packaging content from the box portion which is open at the top. There is provision for walls of the collar to extend from a front side of the box portion up to the region of an opposing rear side of the box portion on which the line hinge is also located. A method and an apparatus for producing such a packaging.

Abstract: A cigarette pack in the form of a sealing pack consisting of an inner pack and an outer pack in the form of a hinge-lid box. An opening aid of the inner pack is provided with a removal opening which is formed as an open recess as a result of punching during the production of a blank for the inner pack, in particular in the region of a continuous material web. Said removal opening, which is free right from the start, is closed by a closure tab which is able to be opened and closed multiple times on account of a corresponding glue connection. The closure tab is preferably connected permanently to the inside of a lid front wall of the outer pack by means of an actuating tab.

Abstract: A packet for cigarette industry products, having a casing which, preferably on all sides, surrounds a group of cigarette industry products as the packet content, wherein the casing is formed from a packaging material, and wherein folding tabs of the packaging material are connected to one another by seams. Preferably all seams are formed by crimping folding tabs of the packaging material that bear on one another in the overlap region of those folding tabs that bear on one another. The invention also relates to corresponding devices and methods for producing such packets.

Abstract: A cigarette pack with an outer pack in the embodiment as a hinge lid box and with an inner pack as a sealed block is provided with an opening tab for the inner pack and with a closure label for actuating the opening tab. The closure label is fixed on the inner side of a lid front wall by means of an actuating tab and is movable with the lid into the opening position. Pressure members cause the closure label to be pressed with regions of glue onto the inner side of the lid front wall.

Abstract: A method and a device for filling containers with products, in which the products are successively conveyed horizontally to a filling installation in which the products, while being combined to form individual product groups, are grouped, and an offered-up container, which is conveyed horizontally to the filling installation, is filled in a single track with one or a plurality of product groups, wherein the filled containers subsequently are in particular horizontally transported away. The method includes conveying the products in multiple tracks to the filling installation, grouping the products to form product groups, feeding the product groups in multiple tracks to a common revolving vertical conveyor of the filling installation, conveying the product groups to an ejection position from which the product groups are conveyed onward in a single track to an offered-up container, and filling the offered-up container with at least one of the product groups.
