    Abstract: A dental appliance being adaptable to fit a range of variously sized dental arches composed of a polymeric material that preferably comprises a hydrophilic foam, in which a medicinal agent such as, for example, carbamide peroxide, in dry or hydrated form, may be incorporated or predispensed. In one embodiment of the invention, the appliance may be provided in packaging, or medicinal agent may be provided in a separate dispenser that minimizes or prevents permeation by water.
