Abstract: Systems and methods for utilizing customer data in a communication system are provided. In exemplary embodiments, customer records at a customer data warehousing system are accessed. Customer data from the customer records are extracted and associated with a customer identifier. The customer data is then stored to an indexed database, the extracted customer data being indexed according to the identifier. When an incoming communication is received, the communication system will determine a communication identifier of the incoming communication. A lookup and matching process is then performed using the communication identifier in the indexed customer information database. If a matching customer identifier is found, associated customer data may be retrieved and used to provide enhanced communication system services including communication routing and customer data alerts.

At least one individual associated with the new call detail record may then be identified, and a subject matter associated with the new call detail record determined. If the existing carrier-issued telephone number comprises a registered telephone number in the carrier-independent database, a call is established via peer-to-peer connection using an address associated with the registered telephone number. However, if the existing carrier-issued telephone number is not a registered telephone number in the carrier-independent database, the call is placed via a standard route.

A single click selection of a communication type from a plurality of communication types for a particular individual may then be received. Using the determined contact identifiers a communication may be established with the individual.

Communication statuses of one or more agents over a plurality of communication types are reviewed to determine available agents. One or more profiles are reviewed to assess applicability of one or more agents to receive the inbound communication, whereby an agent may be applicable to handle more than one inbound communication concurrently as determined by their profile. An appropriate agent is then selected based on the availability and applicability of the one or more agents to which the inbound communication is forwarded.

Abstract: Systems and methods for intelligent presence management in a communication routing system are provided. In exemplary embodiments, an inbound communication may be received for a user. The user's presence status is determined and a profile associated with the user is reviewed. Based on rules contained within the profile, appropriate instructions may be generated for routing the inbound communication in accordance with some embodiments. In other embodiments, instructions may be generated to log the user in or out with the communication routing system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing event driven browser launch are provided. In exemplary embodiments one or more communication data variables associated with a communication are received. Browser launch settings for an individual associated with the communication are reviewed to determine a time to launch a browser. The browser may then be launched at the predetermined time. In exemplary embodiments, the browser provides data retrieved from a URL associated with at least one of the communication data variables.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing distributed call control are provided. In exemplary embodiments, a communication user interface is provided on a client device associated with an individual. The communication user interface comprises a plurality of selectable communication control operations configured to provide control over communications of users within an enterprise. A selection of one of the plurality of communication control operations is received from the individual. Permissions associated with the individual are reviewed to determine if the individual is allowed to perform the communication control operation. If the individual is allowed, the communication control operation is performed. If the individual is not allowed, a denial indicator may be provided.

Abstract: Systems and methods for utilizing a PBX identifier of a PBX system in a mobile environment are provided. In exemplary systems, an enhanced DNS server maintains a central registry of PBX identifiers and corresponding locations associated with the PBX identifiers. The corresponding locations may comprise both private and public IP address. When a remote IP device attempts to access their main office PBX system via the PBX identifier, the enhanced DNS server returns the private and public IP addresses in response.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing configuration synchronicity is provided. In exemplary embodiments, a configuration file is generated based on received configuration information. The configuration file may then be stored and queued up for download to at least one communication server to configure the communication server. Subsequently, a verification process is performed to confirm that the configuration file is correctly written to disk by the communication server.

Abstract: Systems and methods for centralized presence management of local and remote users are provided. In exemplary embodiments, presence management information for the local and remote users are determined. Permissions established for at least one presence management user are reviewed to determine an amount of access to the presence management information to provide to the presence management user. The presence management information is then provided to the presence management user based on the permissions.
