Patents Assigned to Fonderie Officine Riunite F.O.R.
  • Patent number: 5623748
Abstract: A system for carding textile fibres comprises first and second carding machines and a layering system disposed between the output portion of the first carding machine and the input portion of the second carding machine. The layering system forms a mat composed of a plurality of superimposed layers produced from the web of fibres coming from the first carding machine. The system comprises a compactor device disposed downstream of the layering system for bringing about cohesion of the various superimposed layers forming the mat.

  • Patent number: 4817246
Abstract: A roll carding unit, particularly for processing synthetic fibers for the oduction of non-woven textiles which includes a high-speed rotary drum and at least one worker roll rotating tangentially to the drum at a much lower speed than the latter to take up and card the fibres. Each worker roll is associated with two tile-shaped members which are disposed adjacent the surface of the drum upstream and downstream respectively of the position at which the latter touches the worker roll. The first member comprises an output section extending close to the zone of touching to convey the flow of fibers thereto and the second member comprises an input section at an angle to the surface of the drum to connect it with the surface of the worker roll.

  • Patent number: 4716628
Abstract: Device for producing superposed webs of non-woven fabric on the exit side the end comber of a carding machine, particularly for feeding a needle quilter for felting. The device comprises an adjusting unit including a series of conveyor belts movable parallel to the direction of arrival of the web, and a traversing unit fed by the adjusting unit and including a feeder belt having a first section movable parallel to the conveying direction of the adjusting unit and a second section movable at right angles to this direction for feeding a belt delivering the web with fibres arranged longitudinally. The traversing unit is capable of performing an alternating rectilinear movement in a direction parallel to the conveying direction of the adjusting unit, in synchronism with the latter, and feeds the web to an end layering belt, which belt is movable parallel to the delivery belt and has a width corresponding substantially to the distance travelled by the traversing unit.
