Abstract: A container adapter for securing a container to a cargo section of a vehicle includes a frame, a plurality of brackets connected to the frame for securing the frame to the cargo section, and a plurality of locks formed on the frame configured to secure the frame to the container. The cargo section of the vehicle includes one or more attachments secured to a support surface, and at least two locks disposed on the attachments and spaced apart by a predetermined distance in a length direction. The at least two locks configured to engage the one or more containers. A trailer includes a cargo section having multiple bolsters, for use in the sand haul operation for example, the multiple bolsters including first, second and third bolsters spaced apart along a length direction, each bolster comprising two locks configured to engage a container.

Abstract: A cargo deck includes a floor engageable with a load. The floor is formed from extruded aluminum in tubular panels extending transversely along the floor. Side rails are disposed on opposed sides of the deck. A plurality of longitudinally-extending support members support the floor, and are coupled to the floor via a plurality of support brackets extending angularly from the floor to the support members.

Abstract: A restraining strap securement system for a trailer includes a load-restraining strap with a flat hook that connects to the trailer side rail. The trailer side rail extends along the sides of the trailer and comprises a bottom wall with an opening for receiving the flat hook. A keeper slides upon a rail affixed to the bottom wall and the keeper may be positioned to extend beneath the flat hook and prevent the flat from falling from the opening while the strap is being tightened. The keeper may comprise a hook that can be used to secure tarps or ropes over the trailer load.

Abstract: A bumper adapted for mounting to a trailer is provided. The bumper comprises a tail skirt extending horizontally across the rear of the trailer. Upright bars mount to and intersect the tail skirt. The tail skirt comprises a groove for receiving a recessed light bar comprising multiple signal lights. The wiring harness extends from the light bar into a space behind the upright bars and passes through openings in the tail skirt behind the upright bars.

The side rail structure includes an outer side rail wall which is integrally formed as one piece with a rub rail that projects from the outward surface of the side rail wall.

Abstract: A multi-positional flat hook bracket for cargo securement is provided. The bracket allows for the securement of tie-down flat hooks in such a way as to conform to the recent regulations promulgated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Namely, the tie-down will stay inboard of the trailer's rub rails, and any loss in tension to the tie-downs will not result in the flat hook coming loose.
