Patents Assigned to Forcast Research & Development Corp.
  • Patent number: 12128622
Abstract: An additive manufacturing device includes a container for containing feedstock; a radiation source configured to emit radiation in an optical path incident on a bottom wall of the container; and a heater positioned in the optical path of the radiation above the bottom wall. The heater is configured to change a temperature of the feedstock proximate to a reaction interface where the radiation polymerizes at least a portion of the feedstock. The heater is also constructed to meet a transparency threshold and a flexibility threshold, which may allow the heater to be used in the optical path of the radiation and to withstand compressive and tensile forces during build cycles.

  • Patent number: 12128628
Abstract: An additive manufacturing device includes a container for containing feed stock material and having an optically transparent bottom wall. The additive manufacturing device further includes a radiation source configured to emit radiation in an optical path incident on the bottom wall and a sensor positioned in the optical path of the radiation above the bottom wall. The sensor is configured to sense a temperature of feedstock material at a reaction interface as the radiation polymerizes at least a portion of the feedstock material. The sensor is constructed to meet a transparency threshold and a flexibility threshold.

  • Patent number: 10118377
Abstract: A stereolithography system comprises an emitting device and a tank disposed above the emitting device. The tank has a first optically transparent bottom wall and a second optically transparent bottom wall with a space disposed therebetween. There is a linear stage that extends away from the tank and a carrier platform is moveable along the linear stage away from the tank. There is also a wettable material at a bottom wall of the tank within the tank. A fluid cooling system is in fluid communication the space disposed between the first optically transparent bottom wall of the tank and the second optically transparent bottom wall of the tank.
