Abstract: A shower curtain support assembly having a telescoping shower curtain rod that is pivotally affixed to a mounting or support bracket and rotatable about a Y-axis through a horizontal plane to multiple positions, including a deployed position and an undeployed or stored position. The shower curtain support assembly may further have a telescoping shower curtain rod extendable to, and retractable from, a retaining or support bracket. The telescoping shower curtain rod may have a clip on a proximal end for removably engaging with a receiving pocket or bracket. The telescoping rod may be arcuate, straight and/or hinged. The cross-section of the rod may include various geometric shapes.
Abstract: A decorative torch produces a luminous flame and can be used on a patio or balcony as an aesthetically pleasing light and/or heat source. A filter received in a passage of a fuel tube minimizes acoustical noise generated by the flow of fuel from a pressurized fuel source. The fuel tube may omit any vents to enhance the luminous character of the flame and/or to reduce acoustical noise. Alternatively, a sleeve may be used to seal one or more vents. The sleeve may, or may not, be positionable on the fuel tube to adjust the number of vents sealed.
Abstract: The present discussion generally describes a liquid fuel burning device such as an oil lamp having a reservoir for holding the liquid fuel and a flange substantially covering the liquid fuel holding area of the reservoir. The flange is sized and located to provide an opening between a perimeter of the flange and an inner surface of the reservoir. The opening permits a level of the liquid fuel to be monitored and/or checked during filling of the reservoir. Thus, the chance of having an overflow of liquid fuel or an under-filled reservoir is substantially reduced. The flange is configured with a downward slope to allow liquid fuel to drain toward the opening, if liquid fuel gets on the flange during filling of the device.
