    Abstract: An anti-cancer composition comprising an effective amount of a Rhus verniciflua extract and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, the Rhus verniciflua extract being prepared by a process comprising extracting from Rhus verniciflua a crude extract with acetone or ethanol, and subjecting the crude extract to silica gel adsorption chromatography employing a mixture of chloroform and methanol.
