Abstract: An over-running clutch couples a motor driven shaft to a driven element in which the element can freely rotate when the motor is switched off. The driven shaft of the clutch includes a flattened portion with two flat surfaces. A wall of a coupling member engages one of the surfaces when the driven shaft stands still. The coupling member includes an outwardly extending cam which is received in a sleeve of a cylindrical collar positioned on a disk which is rotatably mounted on the driven shaft. When the shaft is rotated, the coupling member is pressed outward over a limited distance and the cam enters a recess provided in the inner wall of a cylindrical drive portion forming part of the driven element.

Abstract: A device for closing and opening curtains, which are movable along a rod (1), said rod near its ends being provided with a means for limiting the movement of said curtains. The rod (1) is provided with channels (2) in which an endless toothed belt (3) is received which at the ends of said rod (1) is guided by toothed wheels (7,13) from which one can be driven. Said toothed belt (3) is provided with at least one carrier (4) which can be connected to a curtain and can extend it self downwards through a slot (5) in said rod (1). A connector element (11) is provided which is connected to the rod (1) and extends substantially in line with this and comprises a sideways extending housing (10), in which said drivable toothed wheel (7) is present. The driving of said toothed wheel (7) takes place by means of an electric motor (9), which can be operated by means of a hand switch either by means of a time switch either by means of a light sensor.

Abstract: The invention relates to a connector element to be used with curtain rails having a substantially inverted U-shaped cross-section with its legs being flanged inwards, said flanged legs at the bottom defining a longitudinal extending opening at both sides limited by raised supporting edges formed by the extremities of the flanged legs, for supporting curtain sliders. The connector element provides for a coupling of subsequent lengths of curtain rail in which it is provided for that at the transition, the curtain sliders project beyond the supporting edge and are forced to the middle, as a result of which the otherwise occurring shocking movement at the transition between abutting extremities of lengths of curtain rail is prevented.

Abstract: The invention comprises a glider with a head portion (1), a connecting portion (3) and a bottom portion (4), the connecting portion (3) having a smaller side than the bottom side of the head portion or the upper side of the bottom portion, the bottom portion being asymmetrical, and an eye(10), intended to bear a curtain hook towards one side, having been shifted to an outer surface (14) of the bottom portion.
