Abstract: An electrochemical cell and battery system including cells, each cell including a catholyte, an anolyte, and a separator disposed between the catholyte and anolyte and that is permeable to the at least one ionic species (for example, a metal cation or the hydroxide ion). The catholyte solution includes a ferricyanide, permanganate, manganate, sulfur, and/or polysulfide compound, and the anolyte includes a sulfide and/or polysulfide compound. These electrochemical couples may be embodied in various physical architectures, including static (non-flowing) architectures or in flow battery (flowing) architectures.

Abstract: Modular lighting fixtures include, for example, a section having an elongated member and at least one light source. The elongated member includes an upper portion, a lower portion, an H-shaped cross-section, a longitudinal axis, and a first flange, a second flange, and a web defining a first channel along a first side of the web and the flanges and a second channel along a second side of the web and the flanges. The at least one light source is attached to the upper portion of the elongated member. The section may be a main section, a first upper section, and/or a second upper section. The sections may have a hollow cross-section and the flanges of the sections may be disposed at 90 degrees relative to each other. Methods for use in forming modular lighting fixtures and methods for illumination are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method for completing fillable electronic forms. One exemplary technique involves automatically importing one or more fillable electronic forms from a database, receiving, at a user interface component via a network, a request to select the one or more fillable electronic forms, presenting a set of selectable fillable form fields from the one or more fillable electronic forms, presenting the one or more fillable electronic forms, receiving a user response for populating one or more fillable form fields from the set of selectable fillable form fields, and automatically deploying the user response in a second and subsequent fillable electronic form from the one or more fillable electronic forms, the second fillable electronic form having one or more fillable form fields shared in common with the one or more fillable form fields from the set of selectable fillable form fields.
Abstract: A cement form can be made of foam and include a brick ledge portion that forms a brick ledge in a cement foundation. In some embodiments, the cement form includes a ground facing surface extending horizontally and configured to contact a ground surface and a cement facing surface extending vertically and configured to contact and support a volume of cement used to create the cement foundation. The cement facing surface can include two vertical surfaces offset horizontally from each other and configured to form a brick ledge in the cement foundation. The cement form can be a single unitary component having an elongated shape and a solid, continuous construction. The foam material can form at least a portion of the cement facing surface.
Abstract: Subject matter of the present invention is a combination medication for use in the treatment of a patient having acute and/or persistent dyspnea comprising at least two of the following components: a beta blocker, and one agent of the group consisting of an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, an angiotensin II inhibitor and a combination of angiotensin II inhibitor or an angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNi), and mineralo receptor antagonist (MRA), gliflozine, a loop-acting diuretic, wherein a sample of bodily fluid of said patient has a level of BNP>200 pg/mL and/or has a level NT-proBNP>600 pg/mL, and wherein said sample of bodily fluid is selected from the group comprising blood, plasma and serum, and wherein said patient is either a patient with heart failure with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) greater and equal to 40%, preferably 50%, or a patient with no heart failure.

Abstract: A rotary composter includes a rotatable composting drum, a motor for rotating the drum, an aeration system for supplying air to the drum and an open-loop computerized controller for controlling one or both of the motor and the aeration system based on animal growth data. The rotary composter may also have a wireless nitrogen gas sensor for sensing an amount of nitrogen gas in the drum and a load cell for measuring a mass inside the drum to enable the controller to further control one or both of the motor and the aeration system based on signals from the nitrogen gas sensor and the load cell.
