Patents Assigned to Form, Incorporated
  • Publication number: 20080083867
Abstract: A connecting tie for use with a metal concrete pouring form. The tie includes an elongated flat bar adapted for attachment at each end to a metal pouring form to hold two forms in a spaced apart and parallel relationship thereby forming a concrete receiving cavity therebetween. A resilient seal is disposed transversely across each side of the bar adjacent each end of the bar in order to seal the tie to the metal forms.

  • Publication number: 20050005575
Abstract: A concrete forming panel system as disclosed having at least two panels wherein each panel has a pair of spaced apart sidewalls. Each panel has at least one opening along each sidewall and the panels are adapted to be positioned in a side-by-side relationship so that one sidewall of each panel abuts against the sidewall of the adjacent side panel and, upon doing so, the opening in one sidewall of the first panel registers with the opening in the abutting sidewall of the adjacent panel. An elongated wall pin is pivotally secured to one end of an arm while the other end of the arm is pivotally mounted to its associated panel. The arm is pivotal between an extended position in which the wall pin extends through registering openings on adjacent panels, and a retracted position in which the wall pin is retracted from the registering opening in the adjacent panel. The wall pin and arm construction is particularly advantageous for confined spaces, such as an inside corner form.

  • Publication number: 20040123546
Abstract: A concrete forming panel system having at least two rectangular panels wherein each panel has a pair of spaced apart sidewalls. Each panel has at least one opening along each sidewall and the panels are adapted to be positioned in a side-by-side relationship so that one sidewall of each panel abuts against the sidewall of the adjacent side panel and, upon doing so, the opening in one sidewall of the first panel registers with the opening in the abutting sidewall of its adjacent side panel. An elongated pin is slidably mounted to each panel and movable between an extended position in which the pin extends through registering openings on adjacent panels, and a retracted position in which the wall pin is retracted from said registering openings. A latch is pivotally mounted to the pin so that, with the wall pin in its extended position, the latch pin extends through a transverse opening in the pin to lock the sidewalls of the adjacent panels together against relative movement.

  • Publication number: 20040069925
Abstract: A concrete forming panel and method for making the same which includes a sheet having an outer peripheral edge. Typically, the sheet is rectangular in shape. An aluminum frame formed by linear frame segments extends around the outer peripheral edge of the sheet. The frame segments are secured to the sheet by welding. At least one, and preferably a plurality of spaced cross braces extend across the sheet between spaced apart portions of the frame. These cross braces are adhesively secured to both the frame as well as the sheet.

  • Patent number: 5596860
Abstract: A metal frame insulated building system using metal studs and sole and cap blocking tracks of "C" cross-section anchored to a foundation and to each other. The studs and cap blocking tracks physically interlocked in addition to being mutually secured by fasteners. Vertical stacks or columns of foamed cement blocks are placed between the studs and grooves on one or both sides of the blocks receive stud flanges to interlock the studs and blocks. The bottom and top blocks of a stack similarly interlock via grooves with the blocking track flanges. The blocks protrude beyond the studs on the structure's exterior, substantially covering the stud and blocking track flanges and attenuating thermal conductivity as well as providing an exterior surface for stucco or other finish.

  • Patent number: 5383817
Abstract: The invention encompasses multiple-ply carbonless paper rolls having the plies adhesively joined along at least one edge of the roll. Advantageously, the individual plies remain adhered together when the plies are unwound and separated from the main roll but are still relatively easy to separate from each other.
