Abstract: Systems and method to identify and locate probate estates of client debtors. One embodiment includes receiving a client file, wherein the file includes a record of individual client debtors and determining if a date of death is available for each of the individual client debtors. Some such embodiments further include identifying one or more courts in which to search for a probate estate for each of the individual client debtors and searching for a probate estate in each identified court for each respective client debtor. In some embodiments, if a probate estate is not identified for a client debtor, the client debtor is placed in a queue, and the search is performed on a recurring or periodic basis until the probate estate is located or a certain period of time has passed.
