Abstract: A syringe for injecting a solid medicament comprises a syringe body mounted movably in a housing and connected to a needle. A spring force acts on the syringe body in a proximal direction, wherein movement of the syringe body in the proximal direction can be freed by a first locking device that cooperates with the syringe body. A primary plunger, which is movable in the syringe body and in the needle, comprises a limit stop that can cooperate with the syringe body. The limit stop is spaced from the syringe body immediately prior to the unlocking of the first locking device. By way of the limit stop the primary plunger can be driven back in the proximal direction through the syringe body when the first locking device is unlocked. The first locking device can be deactivated by an actuating element arranged on the device.

  • Publication number: 20110152755
Abstract: A device (1; 1001) for injecting solid matter (500; 1500) into a human or animal body (600; 1600) comprises a housing (100; 1100), a syringe body (200; 1200) for holding the solid matter (500; 1500), connected to a cannula (220; 1220), a primary plunger (230; 1230), which can be displaced in the syringe body (200; 1200) and in the cannula (220; 1220), and a secondary plunger (300; 1300), which can be displaced in the housing (100; 1100). The device (1; 1001) comprises a force-transmission mechanism, which can act between the secondary plunger (300; 1300) and the syringe body (200; 1200) and/or the cannula (220; 1220), wherein an actuation of the secondary plunger (300; 1300) in the distal direction can bring about a displacement of the syringe body (200; 1200) and/or the cannula (220; 1220) in the proximal direction.

  • Publication number: 20110098675
Abstract: A device (100) for injecting a solid (500) into a human or animal body comprises a syringe body (300) with a first tubular interior for receiving the solid (500), a retaining device for retaining the solid (500) in the syringe body (300), and a needle (200) with a second tubular interior. The needle (200) is connected to the syringe body (300) such that the second tubular interior of the needle (200) communicates with the first tubular interior of the syringe body (300). The device further comprises a ram (400), which can be driven through the first interior into the second interior. The ram (400) can cooperate directly with the retaining device, such that the retaining device can be deactivated by means of the ram (400).
