    Abstract: A window corner flashing device includes a first and a second member. The first member includes a first section which is disposed adjacent a second section and is angled thereto. The first section and second section have a first edge and second edge, respectively, wherein the first member includes a first continuous flange disposed along the first and second edges of the first and second sections, respectively. The second member includes a first section having a third edge and a second section having a fourth edge. The second member further includes a first continuous mating edge which is disposed along the third and the fourth edge thereof. The first member is affixed to the second member by having the first continuous flange permanently affixed to the first continuous mating edge.

    Abstract: A system and process for fabricating pressboard from shredded paper coated with a thermoplastic material and a pair of facing webs includes placing the shredded poly-coated paper between the two traveling webs to form a composite, the composite then being passed in a manner to heat the thermoplastic material above its softening point to differentially repeatedly shift the traveling webs linearly relative to each other and to the shredded paper for enhanced bonding of the shreds to themselves and to the facing webs by passing them around a series of heated rollers defining a serpentine path, and then pressing the composite together while curing to bond the components, and cooling the product.

    Abstract: A reinforced composite sheathing paper for use in wall construction between interior framing and exterior materials such as stucco in which a backing sheet of asphalt saturated kraft paper is provided on the interior surface with a plurality of reinforcing bands extending for the length of the paper in spaced parallel relation, each band including a plurality of fiberglass yarns, a thermoplastic adhesive coating each of said yarns and bonding each yarn to said interior side surface whereby each of said bands reinforces said kraft paper and minimizes deflection of said paper during application of stucco to the exterior surface of the sheathing paper. A method of preparing a wall frame construction for application of exterior stucco material including the step of wrapping in one operation the wall frame construction with a longitudinally reinforced backing sheet including reinforcing bands and securing the backing sheet to the studs of the wall frame construction.
