  • Patent number: 11351708
Abstract: An injection moulding tool for producing at least one injection-moulded part with an outer shape and an inner shape includes at least one cavity and, for every cavity, one hot-runner nozzle connected thereto, which has an annular nozzle mouth for injecting at least one melt into the cavity. The at least one cavity is formed by a cooled die, which forms the outer form for the outer shape of the injection-moulded part to be produced, and by a core, which forms the inner form for the inner shape of the injection-moulded part to be produced. The hot-runner nozzle has a nozzle core and a hollow needle, which can be moved along the nozzle core for opening and closing the annular nozzle mouth. The nozzle core protrudes beyond the annular nozzle mouth of the hot-runner nozzle and the nozzle core forms the core of the cavity of the injection mould.

Abstract: A plastic product has a plastic body injection-moulded or deep-drawn from water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). The surface of the plastic body, which is exposed to ambient moisture or a water-containing substance from completion of the plastic product up to and during the intended use of the plastic product is completely coated with a continuous, water-impermeable and water-resistant protective layer and the plastic body can be completely dissolved in water after the intended use of the plastic product when a non-coated surface is exposed or after the continuous protective layer is destroyed. The protective layer is applied so thinly that it disintegrates or can be separated out of the water after the dissolution of the plastic body, and/or the protective layer (3) has a melting temperature between 50° C. and 90° C., preferably 60° C. to 85° C.

  • Publication number: 20210086417
Abstract: An injection-molding tool has a cavity-forming die and a cavity-forming core pin, which form at least a part of a cavity, provision is made for the injection-molding tool to comprise at least one core-centering device for centering and supporting the core pin. The core-centering device comprises at least one retaining pin guided in a bore of the cavity-forming die. The retaining pin is in contact with the core pin by way of an end face in a retracted position and, in an extended position, is drawn back such that the end face does not project beyond an inner surface of the cavity-forming die, in which the bore ends.

  • Patent number: 10669092
Abstract: An injection molded egg pack has a lower part, with egg holders in an interior, and a lid, integrally formed via a hinge strip and having an at least partially planar lid wall. A releasable closed position of the lid is achieved by lid-fastening means engaging in fastening means of the lower part and a periphery of the lower part engaging in a lid periphery. The lid can be swung in a reproducibly simple manner onto the lower part. This is achieved in that at least one latch-in means is integrally formed on an inner surface of the lid wall, such that it projects away in the direction of a lid plane, and at least one open hollow stub is integrally formed on the lower part, between adjacent egg holders, such that it projects away from the egg holders and a subdivision plane, out of the interior, by way of a stub-opening periphery in such a manner that, in the closed position of the lid, the stub projects out of the interior as far as the inner surface of the lid wall.

  • Patent number: 9850044
Abstract: In order to prevent or minimize littering, the invention proposes a plastic closure (1) having a tamper-proof element. The plastic closure has a tamper-proof element that is as small as possible, and the plastic closure is largely secured against loss. The tamper-proof element consists of a plate (50), which is formed as part of the jacket wall (30) of the cover (3) by means of designed breaking point bridges (51, 52) and lies behind a first apron (25) in the closed state before the first opening and engages in a window (26) of the first apron by means of a locking hook. After the first opening, the plate (50) is separated from the cover and is held captive between the first apron (25) and a second, inner apron (27).

  • Patent number: 9446543
Abstract: To simplify the cleaning of hot runner feed lines, and consequently to reduce the downtimes, an injection mold with at least one central feed line and a number of plates arranged one above the other is proposed. The injection mold has at least one hot runner feed line with one or more branching points, at which the hot runner feed line changes direction and/or is divided. In each plate, the hot runner feed line runs in a straight line from the upper surface of a plate to the lower surface of the plate. These hot runner feed lines run straight and at an angle within the plate. At least on one side, the hot runner feed lines open out into exchangeable inserts. For cleaning the injection mold, the exchangeable inserts can be removed from the plates and cleaned separately, while the straight-running hot runner feed lines can be mechanically cleaned in a conventional way.
